Love the color and the leather. The organization is great: zipper compartments for security and the center space for eyeglass cases, etc. I like the hands-free option because I don't like holding a bag on my shoulder: I find it very distracting. The only downside to this bag is the magnetic closure. In order to save money on manufacture, it seems that a lot of handbag companies use a magnetic closure and it never works: as soon as you put anything in the bag, the closure opens up - magnetic closures are not strong enough to hold a handbag closed. I wish the bag had a turn lock closure to keep the bag closed when carrying it hands free.

I've been using this bag about a month. FIrst, I should say, this is the most I've ever spent on an item like this. My likes: It's bigger than I expected but works really well for me no matter what I'm carrying. It's not too big or floppy for a light load and if I have books or water bottles to carry, it accommodates them perfectly. I even stuck a bottle of wine in it when when we went to friends' for dinner and it wasn't awkward. The drop is perfect for my shoulder. The color is true to the picture. I basically like it a lot. BUT, for this price I would expect zippers and snaps that work. The zippers seem cheap and are hard to open and close, which I hate. The ends snap together to make it more compact, but the slightest pressure opens them up. So I'm basically happy with it but think that the price is pretty premium for what you get. In response to other reviews, there was no smell at all when I unwrapped it.

The bag I received does not match my expectations of Italian leather. The leather is very thin, likely a laminate, and it cam with flaws from what looks like being packed against other bags in a previous shipping experience. Aside from the poor leather quality and lack of appropriate packaging for a $180 bag, the lining is not constructed well, it is shredding and not well sewn in, and the zippers do not work. Both zippers were shut on the ends and open in the center, and after trying to work them a few times to open and close properly, the still stick in the spot where the zippers were open. This bag was meant to replace another yellow bag that had a zipper pulling apart in the center, so obviously I do not want to replace it with a higher priced item with the exact same problem. Also, the color is not really a yellow, but rather a bright tan. Not so pretty, kind of a muddy, dark, yellow ochre.

Beautifully made purse but it was too plain

I really like my new purse. The color is rich, and the leather seems to be high quality. It has two zippers that run on each side of the exterior, so there is lots of room for organizing. The inside phone pocket could be a little roomier. The ordering process was easy and the delivery was fast. I did notice that the price on the manufacturer's website was lower than Amazon's. I didn't like that, but I was using gift cards and had no choice but to buy through Amazon.

Wanted to like this so badly, but I am not a huge fan of zippers and this one has too many visible ones. The other thing was - I am a researcher and always carry papers or other items in a A4 size, but I couldn't put even a folder in this bag because it would get in the way of the magnetic closure on the inside. Otherwise it looks lovely and great Italian build! I ended up getting the Floto Tavani as a handbag and the Knomo Battersea Valencia for work...

If you knew me you would know how much a five star means. I rarely hardly ever give a five. Something always could use improvement, but not this. It's perfect. I've been looking for such a bag. Not too big, not too small. Structured but stylish. The leather is positively beautiful. Lovely color, smooth and buttery. The handles fit nicely over the shoulder (or there is a long shoulder strap if you like). Perfectly designed inside with organizational pockets but not so much you can't find anything. Craftsmanship is superb. With a little care I know I will cherish this bag for a very long time. Worth every cent.

Perfect red bag - i was initially worried about having the middle compartment unsecured with a zipper, but it's not an issue - the two side compartments can be zipped closed, and can fit A LOT. It's perfectly proportioned, the leather is of very high quality, and it goes well with my larger frame (I am 5' 10", and wear Medium clothes). The red color is not sophisticated, not strident. LOVE it!
