NEW MORTAR PESTLE LARGE SIZE SPECKLED CHARCOAL GRANITE

"VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - It was a very frustrating purchase and i would not use this company again. The Mortar delivered was not the one on the amazon website and the pestle was broken into 2 pieces. It took over 10 emails and 3 phone calls to sort out. Direct questions were ignored and answers given to a standard question which i hadn't asked. Staff did not ring back when they said they would"The Mortar is OK but seems to have a fine dust for the first few uses until some of the oils from the seeds and basil leaves have seasoned the porous surfaces of the mortar & pestle. I think marble is likely to be a better material for one of these, next time!

I bought this mortar and pestle because I wanted a deep one for crushing and pounding reasonable quantities of seeds and spices. When it arrived it was clear that I had made the right decision as not only was it good and deep, but it has a rough rubbish inside and is made of an attractive stone. It is also reassuringly heavy. And what short work it makes of my spices.

Great nice size opening it was a bit like a Russian doll with all the packaging but that gar entered it arrived safely

Arrived when it should have done and was exactly as described. A really good 'weighty' mortar and pestle - Very pleased with the product.

Very little effort is required to get the results needed, plus the pestle fits nicely into my hands (guy with average sized hands). The type of stone used is also lovely and so doubles up as a nice ornament in the kitchen when not being used!

First class item. beautiful to look at, well made - just as it said on the advert.
