Don't know where / when I lost the spring in the head of my EGO ST1520S trimmer (with Powerload head), but these are much cheaper & easier to find than the OEM spring, & appear to work just fine.Can't give it 5 stars until I know if it lasts.

My "sub-contractor" lost his spring on a Shindaiwa T231 (25 yr old weed whip) I used a paper towel to McGyver his T231 we had to change out the paper towel every hour or so (giant hassle) so imagine my relief when I noticed Amazon had these in a six pack, at a great price.Great Value, Great Price !! These also fit my new Shindaiwa T242 so this seems to be the standard issue for the last 25 yrs..wait I ungraded to a speed feed around 2012 so for the last 6 years (at least)

Fit my shindaiwa t230 with factory string head. It's the one where the bottom comes off with the string reel and the eyelets together. I stretched the spring just a bit to give a little more tension on the bumb head..personal preference. Works great. Great value. Great quality.

This spring fitted perfect for my EGO Power Plus String Trimmer ST1520S. During routine weed whacking the trimmer head came off and the original spring got lost in the grass. This new spring fitted just right.
