Works great so far on Canik TP9SF
Questions and reviews I read still left me not knowing if this would work on my Canik TP9SF, but I can firmly answer now: yes, it does.Notes:1. I've seen some different sight dovetails/grooves posted, but both of mine have Warren/Glock sights. If yours doesn't, then this mount may not work.2. The most difficult part is getting the stock rear sight out, which required a specific tool called a sight pusher. I got the Universal Sight Pusher Tool for Handguns for $40 here on Amazon. It took a ton of lining up everything perfectly and a little more force than I was comfortable with at first, but once it finally started to slide it was easy from there.3. Note which mount your red dot is using beforehand, as there seem to be at least two main types - Vortex and RMR. I got the Pecawen 3 MOA Green Single Dot Sight for $68 here on Amazon with the Vortex mount (the Picatinny/Weaver comes off) and it screwed right on. I popped in a bore laser sight and in only a couple minutes I had the dots perfectly aligned. Can't wait for the range!Good luck. Stay safe out there.

Make sure you it works on your red dot before purchase
Hi, all glock loversWhy I purchased ?????Got this mount for my glock 19, didn't want to shave down the slide incase I didn't like the red dot optics. Plus didn't want to spend over 300 bucks on a red dot also.Outcome,Didn't mount well for my NcStar - FlipDot Red Dot Reflex Optic, main reason is because the top of the frame of mount dont line up with holes where the red dot mounts . When you try to tighten the red dot NcStar - FlipDot Red Dot Reflex Optic, also it's to wide to fit the holes. After abit of drilling maid some more holes on the mount, and I got it mount. Its just for mean time till I get a universal mount from strike industries.Recommend :::::Pretty sure it will work on all other red dots, it's just this NcStar - FlipDot Red Dot Reflex Optic is to wide. What do you expect for 98.00 bucks when you go cheap you go home 😐 empty handed.Reason why scored it 5 is because it's good mount just find out if its compatible with your red dot sights.

Results WILL vary
I bought this exact sight twice. The first sight I got was a 1 star and the second was a 4 star. The first time buying the sight I got one that looked exactly like the one in the picture. There was no milling around the screws that mount to the sight implant and that caused a massive issue. In addition to the lack of milling, the plate felt angled upward way too high and caused the sight to be too far off at 25 feet to correct, and only came with one set of allen screws for the sight, with no tool to put them in. Back to the lack of milling: The lack of milling caused the bottom two threads to be the only two that bit the implant. After less than 25 shots, the plate and my $250 sight came flying off the gun and hit me in the face. The screws had stripped out and there was nothing holding the plate to the sight piece.I decided I might have been to blame so I ordered another of the exact same plate to try again with; the thing was only $15. The new one came and the difference is night and day. The attached picture is of both the sights. The left sight is round two that I rated 4 stars, the right sight is the first 1 star one. You can see on the right one where I scrapped the finish off trying to tighten the plate to the slide. That was only to get two threads in the hole.So order at your own risk. I will update when I get to shoot with the new plate. It feels miles better than the old one.My specs:Glock 20 10mmThis plate as a go between (Need a sight pusher or Nylon punch to use)Vortex Venom RMR

Aluminum dovetail insert bent while installing
The mounting plate itself was ever so slightly off on the post dimensions and I had to file them down a tiny bit to get the micro red dot to attach at all but that was nothing compared to the problems that ensued. The mount plate is aluminum, which is fine, but SO IS THE DOVETAIL INSERT!It's supposed to be a tight friction fit but the #$%^ dovetail insert bent during installation and is now jammed in the dovetail slot on the slide and attempts to remove it have thoroughly wedged it in place to the point I'm going to have to cut it out. This was a complete nightmare and would have been well worth the extra money to get a STEEL dovetail insert.Would not buy again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else unless you're willing to risk it....

Works great. Additional materials needed
Once you order this, also be sure to pick up some blue loctite, and a sight removal tool It will make removal of your existing sights and installation of this sight a breeze. Was able to mount a Vortex Venom in less than five minutes with this mount on a model 19. Does not add significant bulk compared to the lock in mount provided by Vortex, which is great!

Great product
Bought this before I jumped into having my slide milled out for red dot sight. Milling costs around 200-250 in my area, so before I committed to having this done, I wanted to be sure that moving to a red dot sight (Vortex Viper), this was the way I wanted to go. It's about 3/8ths of an inch higher (0ver the bore) than what the sight would be if you have your slide milled out, BUT you can get the idea of what a red dot is like and you are only out the cost of this mount and your slide in intact.
