Great pan, great service.
Firstly, don't expect an insanely non-stick surface like you see on the late night tv commercials. You won't be flipping pancakes up in the air or sliding burnt cheese off this pan with one hand. That said, I've never had to exert any effort whatsoever with just a coconut fiber scrubby pad, even when the pan had been sitting longer than it should have and even when I've burnt things onto it.With the tiniest bit of oil, nothing really sticks inless you burn it in. Even then, it comes right off with a minimum of soaking or elbow grease. A plastic spatula is enough to knock most things off the surface, even when the pan is cold and dry.I don't really know what this coating is, but I've used metal utensils on occasion and haven't noticed any scratching. It still looks brand new despite being used at least once a day. I don't know what it is about that honeycomb pattern, but nothing really wants to stick to it. I'm guessing that the raised metal pattern shields the mystery coating from being damaged or scratched by anything other than a pointed instrument. My only cons are: #1. The bottom diameter is pretty small, making it good for stir-fry but not so good for pancakes or more than one grilled sandwich at a time. It is, however, deep enough for deep frying, so it's a tradeoff. I'd like to see them offer an omelete and skillet type pans though. I'd buy them both.#2. The metal band around the lid is not well sealed against water. I wash dishes by hand and a little water is always left trapped under the metal band. It dries out pretty quickly and if I used a dishwasher, I probably would never have noticed since the dry cycle would have taken care of it. But I have other glass lids with metal rims and they don't leak. (They cost 3x as much too). Considering the price difference, I won't dock it a star for that. Besides, most other civilized people use dishwashers, so a teaspoon of water won't ever be an issue for them.Lastly, I have to remark about the seller. My pan arrived with some flaked chips in the edge of the lid where something had impacted the metal rim and even left a small ding in it. I contacted the seller, snapped a pic of the damage and was immediately sent a replacement lid with no hassle whatsoever, which I received in a couple days..tldr: It's great. Buy it. Just be aware of it's size peculiarities. You won't be cooking eggs, bacon and hash browns all at once in this pan. But if you did, it would be a super-easy cleanup.

Beats the high dollar version in a couple of categories.
I bought two of the High Dollar pans, one was almost $200 and the other was about $150 and neither came with a lid.I was skeptical of this pan and lid because of such a good price, I have been totally surprised at the quality and the non-stick is excellent. The heat transfer is better than the other brands 12" and 10" pan on my convection cooktop range. The only thing I'm not sure of yet is the durability, if it holds up well, I've bought my last piece of HexClad.

Not quite non-stick, but very close!
I was hoping to slide eggs off to a plate, but that's not always the case (sometimes, though). The other aspects of this pan makes it my first choice for everything. Even heat, edge to edge, safe for high heat, very easy cleanup. It feels sturdy, can't scratch it, what's not to love? Eggs a problem - Use more olive oil.

Best one
I've gone through a lot of large pans only to find out the non-stick wears off within a month. I've had this for a year now. Still works like brand new. When burnt food appears and it's to difficult to get it off with a plastic scrub. Use a flat evenly surface wet stone to clean the stainless steel inside the pan. Works flawlessly.

Never buy these pans
I was so disappointed in this cookware. Not once did we ever eat any food prepared in this pan. It sticks and there is nothing you can do to correct the issue. Today, I am throwing it in the trash.

What is the black coding inside the pan
I returned the pan because there is a black coding inside the pan, that seems to be coming off rather easy.Scratching the pan with my fingernail showed black on my nail and finger. I don't want to eat that. The pan is pretty, sturdy, and easy to put together. I had no problems cooking eggs in it; they did not stick at all as I saw in a previous review. It's very easy to clean as well. I would have kept it were it not for the coating inside the pan.

Cook’s everything evenly.
It’s professional quality without breaking the bank. It does need to be seasoned before you use it, but it’s very easy. You have to assemble the handle, but again no issues, it was a breeze.Excellent for everyday cooking, searing meat to scrambled eggs.It can go into the oven and cleans up very nicely. It’s not recommended to air dry, much like a cast iron skillet, I hand wash and dried right away after pan has a chance to cool down.I would highly recommend it !
