SOFT99 Glaco Compound Roll On 100ml & Ultra Glaco 70ml Bundle Pack

Purchased due to all the advertisements on how much better quality and durability wise this was than standard Rain-x and other over the counter type water repellents for the windshield. This product does require a 2 step process which does take a bit more time, but it is very very simple to follow. Once applied, it does exactly as advertised, but for much much longer than any of the over the counter stuff. Have had it on for over 5 months and water still repels off just like day 1 of applying.

This stuff is super easy to use and the results are great. I don’t have a lot of time with it on, but the first sheet test was great, especially for the low application effort.

At first, I didnt think this product was any better than ra*n-x which is significantly cheaper other than maybe longevity. Seemed to perform about the same. I have this on one vehicles windshield and the other brand on two other windshields to compare it to. A few days ago, we received 5” of snow and when I cleaned the windshields, the one with this stuff cleaned off in about 10 seconds just sliding off with minimal effort. The other two windshields with the other brand took the normal amount of work as if they werent treated at all. This product is worth the price for that fact alone if you live in areas with snow.

glass polish/cleaner didn’t work as I had hoped it would, although I had a pretty tough ceramic coating on the windshield that I had to remove. So on a windshield with no previous coating, I’m sure it would work just fine. The 12-month water-beading coating. Streak-free, crystal-clear glass. Went on pretty much as directed and was very easy to buff off. It’s supposed to last for 12 months. So far it is working fine. I’ve only had it on for a couple of weeks. Time will tell.

Great results, very easy to clean up to compare with other products

Excellent product. My windshield looks PERFECT. Absolutely no streaks or marks on the glass, after finishing. The only hard part was trying to reach the top/middle of my Explorer windshield... used a later, which is cumbersome, but I certainly cannot fault the product. Haven't driven through a hard rain, yet, so time will tell with the clarity.

I feel that the general operation is not complicated, but my car windows don't feel particularly clean. To be honest, the glass of the car that is too old may also be aging.

This is my second time using a glass compound and let me tell you this, this one knocks the competition out of the park. I used the glass striper first to remove the remains of the old compound and then applied the compound it self. Super easy to use, I still have a bunch left after doing all my glass on my SUV. I have beading of the water starting at around 55-60 km/h. Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend! Now, let’s see how long it lasts.

I am very pleased with the result, everything is simple and clear, it worked just like in the video.

Preparation is key for this product. Clean the glass multiple times and then use the first stage to really prep the surface. Rinse off the first stage and apply the protection compound. Works well and provides great visibility. If you live in a climate with a lot of rainfall like Canada then you will have to re apply more frequently to maintain protection. Would definitely buy again.
