“I’ve been using this milky toner morning and night for about a week, and overall I think it’s a great product to give your skin that extra hydration it needs. One thing I really liked is how thin it is and how just a little bit goes a long way. It drastically reduces the appearance of my fine lines under my eyes because it is THAT hydrating. The best part? It doesn’t irritate my skin like other toners and is good to use if you are on tretinoin or another retinol. One downside is that it is a little pricey and a little sticky after putting it on your face, but it is not a big deal if you put a little moisturizer on top. Overall, I’d recommend this for anyone who is looking to keep their skin extra hydrated without putting a thick/heavy cream all over their face.

I really like this toner and how comforting it feels on my skin. It has quickly become one of my favorite steps in my routine. The texture is unique—lightweight like a toner but with the richness of a moisturizer, so it sinks in quickly without feeling heavy or greasy. It leaves my skin feeling instantly cushioned, soft, and plump, which is perfect when skin feels tight or dehydrated. It layers well with serums and creams without pilling, making it easy to incorporate into both morning and night routines. this toner is a great choice when skin needs both moisture and comfort in one step. It is simple to use and delivers the kind of hydration that keeps skin looking healthy and dewy.

At the time I purchased this, I didn’t have a toner in my skincare routine and I felt that my dry skin needed some extra hydration and moisture as I felt like my moisturizer could only do so much. I also wanted something that could possibly substitute a moisturizer as summer was approaching and had experienced issues with sweating off my cream moisturizer in the past (I sweat a LOT). I use this toner alone in the morning before applying sunscreen and I’ve found that it’s the perfect combination to keep my skin hydrated and moisturized in the summer while also not dealing with the greasy sweat from a cream moisturizer. At night, I use this after a glycolic acid toner and the combination has really evened out my skin tone and my skin look so smooth! My only issue is the bottle and having to use a cotton pad to apply it. I feel like it’s really wasteful for the product and also for the environment. Instead, I pour the toner into a dropper bottle and a spray bottle and it’s perfect for when I wanna use it as a moisturizing setting spray or just for quick application without feeling like I’m wasting it. Really love this product because of how gentle and nourishing it is, plus it has no scent which I really like! It has surely become a regular in my skincare routine and I will be buying again once I run out!

Great product for combination skin! I have acne but also skin so dry it peels sometimes, alone with pretty sensitive skin, so a good skin products review is rare from end, but I will say that this is perfect for me. It’s a larger amount than I expected from a brand like laneige for the price, which I’m so excited about! It leaves my skin feeling hydrated but not heavy, greasy, or anything like that. It soaks in pretty fast and is a really great product overall. Will be repurchasing!

I have to try all of the toners and this one has excellent word of mouth hype. I consider this in a class of k-beauty milky toners with the Tirtir one, the Dr Ceuracle kombucha essence and the I’m From rice toner. All are incredibly hydrating and moisturizing for my dry, sensitive skin. This fragrance free one boosts the skin barrier with peptides, ceramides, and white leaf tea (amino acids). In the morning, I apply one layer to get the glass skin effect and then multiple layers (usually 3) at night to improve my skin barrier. Out of all the milky toners, this one may have the edge on the others because I can purchase a refill pouch and just refill the bottle(s) I have. I love less waste. The way this one falls short is that it is pricey compared to the other toners in its category. Also a lot of product comes out of the dropper when I shake the bottle so I end up using too much product.

This serum is perfect for Florida’s climate and for my dry, sensitive skin. I use it every day - it doesn’t cause redness, feels lightweight, and is not sticky at all. I also like applying it to a sponge before foundation - the coverage turns out soft, and the skin feels well hydrated☺️🌤️

After buying into a lot of Asian skincare hype, I've become more discerning about hype vs reality. I do think the Laniege milky toner does live up to the hype. It's a very creamy water consistency, literally like watered-down milk. It's very moisturizing and hydrating in a very thin way, by which I mean it's thin enough to be buildable and layerable depending on needs. I've seen reviews of others who can use this as a moisturizer alone in certain conditions. I've not yet tried it alone as where I live has been incredibly hot and dry for a long time, but when it's more humid and sticky outside I could see me trying this as a simple moisturizing product. As it is now, I layer it under my daily moisturizer and feel it gives a nice boost. I also layer it over tretinion at night and under my night cream and oils. A bit of extra something that's subtle but very noticeable at the same time. It does make my skin very shiny for a few hours after application. I'm not a fan of the glazed donut look, so I was nervous about this at first. Once it sinks in, the shine is very dewy, not a greasy shine, that makes it easier for me. As the day wears on and the product soaks in, my skin is no longer shiny but has such a look of softness. The product itself isn't really "soft", it's not sticky per se but has a definite tacky-ness that's noticeable if you touch your face. By days end, it doesn't look sticky, tacky, greasy, shiny...it looks soft, hydrated, babied up. Really digging this new product, I will update if my opinion changes for better or worse.

If you struggle with dryness or want that dewy, plump look, this product is unreal. It’s like a toner and moisturizer in one—lightweight but SO moisturizing without feeling greasy or heavy. The texture is a milky water that instantly absorbs and leaves your skin soft, hydrated, and glowy. My favourite part is that it layers beautifully under makeup and never pills. A little goes a long way, and my skin just drinks it up. I use it morning and night, especially in the winter, and it’s become a staple in my routine. It’s gentle, calming, and makes my skin feel healthy and balanced. If you're dry, sensitive, or want glass-skin hydration, this is 100% worth it.
