Leaks
On September 2022 I bough this item. It started leaking from the body of the adapter in November / December and then the leak got progressively worse. Now comes the shocking part: This week I called customer service in UK and spoke to a person named Simon. He told me that it is totally expected for these to leak because they "start freezing at 4 degrees", that is at 4 deg. Celsius. I objected telling Simon that water does not freeze at a temperate above 0 deg C to which he countered saying "No, we [Claber] did experiments that showed they freeze at 4 degrees. Tiny little crystals start forming...". As I cannot argue with someone as ignorant as Simon I decided to post this review that would hopefully inform others to think twice about wanting to have anything to do with Claber. I certainly won't.

Useful irrigation tool.
Works very well and assists garden irrigation. Warning - don't leave this unit outside and containing water during winter. Two of my units were damaged by freezing.

Does the job & works well with Claber irrigation timer/valve. Don’t leave out in frost as seams will crack.

Really does the job
Good product does what it says it should. My only concern will be longevity as its totally plastic and the connections whilst good might be a place it fails later on. No problem though so far and I have used it all summer.

Good quality.
Purchased to replace a damaged identical item which I have used for several years. Have found this manufacturer to produce a range of quality products. Used in conjunction with a water timer of the same make, which allows access to a water supply whilst maintaining the timer usage.

Don't overtighten.
Simple to use with its two switch control, I leave them on most of the time. I hand tightened all connections and as long as the gchildren leave it alone it does not leak. I turn the hose side off when I am using the sprinkler and seem to get a small raise in pressure for it.

It works - not much more to say!
This is my second adapter as the first one developed a leak after two years. It is easy to set up and use and it allows me to use a hose and water timer from the one tap.

Great product very good price but the supplier should supply hose attachments with this product.
