oh what a wonderful feeling
I've got two bad shoulders and I have to correct deep postural problems that have developed over twenty years of sitting (etc. etc.). This is a wonderful tool for doing this - the clue is in the name. They expand your chest because they strengthen the back of your shoulders and your upper back and this pulls your shoulders back and pushes your chest out and up. Absolutely fantastic - you wriggle free of potentially life-spoiling shoulder pain - and you get to look totally different from the round shouldered, hunched over, bench pressers (and better in my view). But all that to one side the point I want to make is this. If you do a sensible circuit of these exercises with the right amount of resistance for your strength, the whole upper part of your body will feel seriously cool. Weights don't do this - and neither to ordinary bands (at least I haven't made them work this well). You just stand in one spot and attack your upper back, shoulders and triceps with a series of stretchy challenges. Its very easy to push yourself hard with these without hurting yourself - I think that's the secret.

What Happened To Good Quality
I used a chest expander years ago, when they were of good quality and endured many hours and years of use. After buying this particular chest expander I used it for two weeks before it broke. The rubber cable just snapped at the point where it is held by the handle. It came with three but I do not want to take a chance with the other two as when the one broke it stung my hand for quite a while, and if the other two are worn down enough to snap well - just better to leave well enough alone. I will keep searching for a descent chest expander.

chest expanders are a great way to build great amounts of strength when it ...
chest expanders are a great way to build great amounts of strength when it comes to your shoulders, neck and chest. if you use them a lot, like i do, it is a good idea to build up the support muscles in your lower back and abdomen to compensate for the immense degree of force you will be capable of exerting after adding this piece of equipment to your workout regimen. once you are able to do sets of 100-200 reps, you can injure the receiving party and/or give yourself a hernia if you, in the context of some emotional event(celebratory,or otherwise), hug somebody hard as you are able. i am certainly not joking! just be aware that you will have strength in ways that you did not before. it is one of my favorite things to use when i workout

Love the chest expander
Trying my hardest to get rid of my man boobs and this product should help tremendously. I was concerned at first that the lines might snap and pop me in the face but after reviewing the free DVD that came with it I was put to ease also with the DVD came many exercises I hadn't thought of to help as well. All in all a solid product and purchase. Bobdole approves this purchase.

Perfect for traveling! Extremely durable, but also very lightweight!
I like these cables a lot. They are extremely durable, but also very lightweight. This makes them a perfect choice when you need something very portable to take with you (and keep you exercising daily) when your schedule keeps you on the road longer than you might like. I had a set of the old metal cables as a teenager, but these are even better. These cables are built to last and, if you will apply a little thought and creativity, you can find many exercises you can do with them.

It's been a "life-line..."
This device is perfect for the purpose behind my purchasing it: I'm in dentistry and have upper back/between shoulders pain. By incorporating several different "stretch/strengthening" exercises, this Expander loosens up my muscles and provides the kind of extension needed to counter the constant flexion. I only use one "tube" at this point, because I'm not interested necessarily in building bulk. With time, that may occur and I'll add the other tubes, one at a time. Arnold S. has nothing to fear from me, yet. Really happy with this device.

Chest Expander Review
The chest expander with various amounts of tension, based on t he number of bands used, has been an excellent addition to my exercise program. The expander is easily stored and taken when away on business or leisure travel.

in a few minutes a great workout!
..far superior to the previous brand I used in quality of construction. Some people have complained about the flexible handholds, but I actually prefer them to the rigid type- they permit a more controllable experience...I'm in my late '70's, and using this every other day keeps my entire upper body flexible- important, as I have scoliosis.
