This is the first time I’ve ever purchased something to filter my shower water, the difference it made in everything shower related is unbelievable! I never EVER thought a shower head or filtered water would make such a huge difference. My skin is softer and smoother, and better than that, I seem to have a different head of hair. My hair is thicker, fuller and smoother. I have eczema on my scalp, which can be miserable, and I’m not bothered by it at all. I have never “loved” my hair but now that I see the difference, I’m amazed how much better it is with softness and better control with the same hair products. I also have dry skin and and I use moisturizing cream rather than lotion, and it’s way more expensive than regular lotion. I know it’s not just in my mind that I’m using less of it because it glides on smoother. Installation was a dream. I just took the old one off and screwed this one on. I did make sure to buy Teflon tape along with the shower head so make sure you have some of that on hand, and make sure you pop out the old restrictor from the water outlet, if you have that type of device. The water pressure is ok with the restrictor that comes installed on this but it’s fairly easy to take out as it’s inside the top of the shower head where it connects to your water outlet. It’s a black o ring with a tiny screen in it. The shower head has a VERY light touch tab to change the spray settings. The shower head swivels very nicely so I can use to rinse my shower when I clean it, which is way better than having to continuously splash and wipe it down. This shower head is one of the top two or three things I’ve ever purchased during prime days. I purchased the brushed nickel finish for just under $23 to match my other hardware. The chrome finish is just under $19. It’s a good quality unit so there’s absolutely no need to spend money on a pricey one. This one is worth every single penny. I love it.

We have chlorinated town water, and this filtering shower head has made a world of difference with our skin and hair. Was easy to install (thanks to my hubby), and has great water pressure. Would recommend to anyone looking for better water for showers!

We have hard water and for the last year, my skin has been so dry and my scalp itchy. I finally took the time to research shower filters and I’m so glad I bought the premium filter and shower head in brushed nickel. It looks great and with the first shower, I’m impressed at how soft my skin feels—it’s the difference between night and day--really! I also didn’t know we had such good water pressure but with this new shower head, the water comes out forcefully and finally, I can easily wash my hair clean. It has multiple spray settings for making the water come out more gently too. Another thing I love is that the filter can be easily changed by simply unscrewing the shower head and not having to touch the pipe connecting to the wall. I know it’s just the first day that I’m using this but getting a water filter for the shower has been long overdue and I’m glad I chose this one.

I bought a new home and my filtered head was matte black. I started having issues with dry scalp I could not get rid of. See stinky tar shampoo pictured lol I couldn't get it open to replace the filter so I ordered this. I'm kinda glad this happened because now my hardware matches and I think it will be great. It seems well made. I have awesome pressure. Can't wait to shower tonight and check it out. I will update after using a bit. The price is great and super easy to install. I used my own plumbers tape because I've been burned by some that comes in a package before.

I have reordered this shower head twice. On the third time now. I already have a supply of the filters, so I need the shower head to go with it. I can't remember the exact problem with the first one, but now the second one just stops dead in the shower. It's like it's clogged, but I took it apart and it looks fine. Very frustrating. The first one last about 5 months. The second last less than 3 months. My advice is to buy a better quality one from Lowe's or Home Depot. Nothing worse than having to take the shower head off in the middle of your shower, and having a powerful stream of water from the spigot to finish your shower with. Here goes the third one. Like I said, I have a few filters that I need to use. I will not be buying an extra supply of filters. My advice is to check the reviews and see how long the shower head lasted.
