Yankee Candle Scented Candle | Fireside Treats Large Jar Candle | Burn Time: Up to 150 Hours

I bought a few of these pine Yankee candles at Christmas. The candles were well packaged and I got a nice thank you note from the seller which I thought was a lovely touch. The candles were a fresh pine smell (love pine smell especially at Christmas) and I believe the candles to be genuine Yankee. The candles were good value and cheaper than buying from the shops. I would purchase again from this seller.

I haven’t bought a large hat Yankee Candle for some time, mainly because I felt I was being ripped off by paying over £20 for some coloured scent-less wax. The company had seemed to change their scented candle ‘business model’ by removing the scent from thier products and hoping no one would notice. Well they did, you can read on here and all across the Internet how bad Yankee’s candles actually got. ‘Where is the scent?’ came the universal cry.Anyhoo, I had a ‘moment of madness’ and thought I’d try one of their brand new ones from 2020’s Christmas Range, ‘Surprise Snowfall’ and, well, surprise (!) it actually has a decent scent and throw which you can actually smell without having to be 2 inches from the flame.I chose this candle as (A) I like pine scents and (B) it’s a white candle and was told years ago (although I’m not sure if it’s true) that white candle have a better throw as they don’t contain lots of dyes. Although a couple of years back a couple of previously good Midnight Jasmine candles proved me wrong on that front.So, yes, the smell is good and I can even smell it outside of the living room. It’s not a toilet cleaner pine scent it’s a light fresh out-doors pine. It’s reminds me of ‘Sparkling Snow’ from another 5 years ago. The scent has grown in strength once I had burnt through about three quarters of an inch for some reason.I’m giving it 4 out of 5 as I’d like to see if the smell matains all the way to bottom, in which case I will give it a five.This is more like it Yankee. Keep it up!

the smell surprise snowfall is not overpowering at all it’s very nice and subtle, I love Christmas smells and this smell makes me instantly think of Christmas. Accidentally bought thinking it was a bigger one, when it is indeed very small

Only thing was the jar arrived smashed. Shame really the smell was Devine a favourite of mine got a refund

The Merry Berry candle lasts well and it smells nice whether burning or not.Shame it is single wick though as you are left with unburned sides which is a waste as per pic.

Forstly the jar itself is real. It has a yankee engraved lid.but the candle on the inside? I am not convinced.It arrived and the top of the wax was bubbled up and also had some crater holes. I have never had a yankee candle with that and I have had a lot of them. I have never found one I can't smell. Also, I have a very sensitive sense of smell. So it doesn't really have the usually strength of a smell that a yankee candle usually have. Instead it was hardly noticeable.Normally a yankee candle will melt the wax all the way to the edge of the jar and all the way around when burned for a number of hours. Unlike other candles that seem to burn down the middle and leave a wall of wax around it as it gets lower and lower. This candle did exactly the same as other candles which is not like a yankee at all.so I lit this candle and a yankee candle I already had. The one I already had melted the entire surface of the candle wax within a few hours. This candle was still not melting far from the wick after 8 whole hours. The flame was also a lot smaller than my existing yankee candle. In fact it was smaller than my tea lights which were a random, cheap buy. I wondered if it was that the wax was too high up the wick and soaked some up with a paper towel. This did improve the size but only breifly as the wick burned away fast down to the wax level again. I have only used this candle 3 times and for the same amount of time as my existing large yankee candle. Not only has this candle caught up withthe existing candle which had previously been burned a number of times, but it had actually passed it and the wick is now at a shorter level than my existing yankee.So although the jar seems to be authentic and the label does too, I am not 100% sure that it is a yankee candle inside it. I suppose it is possible that a different candle has been made inside a used jar but it is impossible to be able to tell. I think the best thing to do is buy from an official stockest.

Smells good. Great for the winter months .

Got this for my mom. She likes this scent. only place I could find it.
