It’s not high quality yarn but as a learners kit it works great. I had to look up tutorials for some stitches but once I got it all down it was easy. I like how it encourages the use of a lot of various crochet skills for each critter. Not all the instructions are written out so the video helps

Bought this for my wife and she is getting into this hobby and she loved it! Everything she needed was included and she loved making the small stuffed animals. 10/10 would recommend!

The yarn is extremely low quality, though you might not notice at first. The yarn can be pulled apart easily, like if you make one mistake the whole string will fall apart. Plus, it doesn't come with video instructions. I would recommend getting a woobles crochet kit instead.

I have no idea where those 5-star reviews came from, because this kit was garbage.As a true beginner, I tried watching the videos and following along but it was laughably difficult. They're not "teaching" you so much as just doing the motions and then moving on. The video instructor also had an extremely thick accent and the subtitles didn't really help. I would not recommend trying to use these videos to teach a beginner, because I just wound up confused and frustrated.Then there's the yarn. Holy cow, that stuff was awful. I don't know how they expect people to not lose their minds when working with it. I was halfway tempted to just buy different yarn to do the patterns, but why bother?I ended up buying a more expensive crochet kit that's actually geared toward beginners, and it was a night and day difference. That one was worth every penny, because I now have an adorable little penguin friend that was way easier to make than I thought it would be.This kit, I will be returning ✌️

This is marketed for beginners (both in the written description and by implication with the finished products being small stuffed animals) but it is not for a beginner! The instructions are complex, the video moves too quickly and is narrated by an individual with a thick accent. My granddaughter asked me if they were speaking English?!
