Horrible Harry in Room 2B

I'm trying to increase reading fluency with my boys and these will help in providing great little chapter books for my students to read and relate to Harry and hopefully increase comprehension as well.

Horrible Harry series is so funny that my mom and I both listen to my daughter reading them. Love these books! Accidentally ordered two so I gave one to her little friend and he and his dad loved it too. They finished their copy in one night!

We LOVE Horrible Harry in our house! (Shhhhh, Harry's not really horrible. Keep the secret!) These books are a pleasure for kids and adults. It brings back humorous memories for me and my daughter can relate to the school atmosphere and classroom setting. My daughter is 6, in the last 1/3 of Kindergarten reading on a 2nd to 3rd grade level. While she can read these books independently with little/no help, they are lots of fun to read together. A key feature for me before we starting reading Harry was the number of volumes in the series. There's a deep catalog, a very nice benefit allowing us to get to know the whole gang in depth. My first few Horrible Harry books came from our local public library and because they don't have the entire series, we read out of order. This series rewards the reader who goes in order because the books follow the school year. Yes, you can jump around but there's a nice progression if you go in title order.

This book series is great for the early reader. My son is entering 4th grade and started this series for summer reading.My son enjoyed everyone he read. I would recommend this book and all other books included in this book series.

My son is in first grade. He read this book on his own at home, then his class had group discussions. He Loved the story and illustrations!

I read this book because it is a favorite of my two grandsons, 6 and 8 years old. I read it when I was alone, hoping to learn what made it a favorite. Within a few pages I was chuckling, then laughing out loud. No wonder they love it!

Adorable story about a naughty boy and his classmates in 2nd grade. Perfect for end of 1st-2nd grade readers.

This is such a cute book! I'm a teacher and have bought multiple copies for my guided reading groups. The main character Harry is what it sounds like, horrible! These are perfect for first and second graders to read. My students can't stop reading!
