I purchased these to replace my 40-year-old metal ones...I felt I needed an upgrade! I like that they are sturdy and though I haven't put them through the dishwasher yet, they seem easier to clean than my old ones. A big bonus is that the measurements are stamped in both imperial and metric measures. Many people like me have cookbooks which use either metric or imperial, so to have both is a benefit. Plus, they look nice, if that matters.

Sturdy but light. I love that thr numbers are engraved so that it doesn't wipe off with time. Plastic is pretty durable as well.

Basic measuring cups for baking. Works as intended so far

Each set of the measuring cups is linked together with a small chain. The measuring spoons are also linked together. I was able to hang both sets on the knobs of my kitchen cabinets with this chain loop. I am very pleased with this item!
