Great packaging, very little risk of damage
Comes in a cardboard poster tube full of bubble wrap. Always a little nervous buying glass products online but no worries here at all.

Replacement uv lamp
The replacement lamp works well my green pond is now a clear pond

Works but is expensive
I replace the bulb (for my garden pond) once a year. This latest one was £32 - I can't understand why the price has gone up so dramatically ?

Have some doubts
Difficult to know if it is this particular bulb but does not seem as effective as my previous one at keeping water clear. With ponds many factors can effect clarity of water so can not say conclusively one way or another. Will go back to previous brand to see if indeed the bulb is the culprit.

Doesn't fit Hozelock 6000 filter
Although it is described as suitable for the Hozelock 6000 filter, it isn't. At the end of the lamp the two tubes are wleded together in such a fashion that the metal plate that positions it correctly does not go over the end; nor does the plastic that acts as a support for the tube. It took over a week to arrive so I couldn't be bothered returning it for a different make so ,after a bit of work with some pliers and a secateur, I managed to fit all the pieces together. I may have had a poorly made example, if so then it doesn't say much for Osram's quality control.

Gut und günstig
Die UV-Lampe, die begeistert. Ich habe schon viele UV-Lampen probiert. Aber nachdem ich die gleiche Lampe beim letzten Mal von Osram gekauft habe war ich über die Lebensdauer erstaunt. Viele günstige UV-lampen gaben schon nach einem halben Jahr auf und die Osram war noch nach einem Jahr funktionstüchtig. Das genügt, denn die UV-Lampen sollen ja eh nach spätestens einem Jahr ausgetauscht werden.
