Works as intended
I don't have any issues with this unit at all. The one great thing with it is that if the internet connection goes down, it will automatically reconnect when it comes back up. It keeps itself online without any issues. I have been using it now for several months.Complaints: Tech support is HORRIBLE! If you write them email you probably won't get a reply. You can call, but you will wait on hold and then you will have to waste a half hour going through unnecessary trouble shooting steps just so they can follow the procedure the techs have on their worksheet. Another complaint it the huge blue light on the top of the unit cannot be turned off. It's just shines all night like a neon sign outside your bedroom window. The light is completely unnecessary as it serves no function other than to tell you the power is on. My third issue is that this unit should by default be included with the Kevo door lock. You shouldn't have to buy it separately.

This is needed to work with Alexa or Google Home
The Kevo Plus is the only way for Kevo to be monitored over the Internet or integrated with SmartHome devices such as Alexa or Google Home. You can also give out eKeys over the Internet using the Kevo Plus. The device works well, easy to setup and hasn't failed me yet.The bad points:1) Costs $100 for basic Internet operations. For Smart Devices this is pretty ridiculous as everything needs Internet for integration.2) Only Bluetooth - since there are no Smart Hubs which offer Bluetooth management of Smart Devices you have to shell out $100.3) You need a network cable to your router. Sadly the Kevo Plus is NOT a wifi device. This can be an issue since you have to plug it into your Wifi router AND you have to be close to all your locks. Getting a Wifi repeater with a LAN port close to your Kevo Plus can solve this, but not too close as Bluetooth is the same frequency at 2.4 GHz wifi. Also introduces other issues such as wifi channel congestion if you don't have a MIMO repeater and latency over the Wifi. At $100 this device should have a Wifi antenna at 5 GHz so it doesn't stomp on the 2.4GHz Bluetooth antenna.4) Still need to use the App. Even with Internet connectivity there is no website for Kevo management. Which means you still need to do everything off a phone or tablet.

Kevo Plus...the good, the bad, and the ugly
If you have wandered over to this review after reading my review of the Kevo Convert update, this will repeat some of that information, and contain a bit more detail on the Plus.If you follow the instructions, setting up the Plus is fairly painless. That said, read the instruction end to end first. Read the back side for what the colors on the Kevo Plus mean. It's important to have the pulsing white band before cracking out your phone and starting the pairing process. To pair Kevo Plus to your phone, open the Kevo app, select the location in question (should you have more than 1 residence), and touch the "+" sign. Go to "Pair a Device", choose the lock type (I have Kwikset), and then choose the Kevo Plus icon. From here, the pairing process goes on awhile. Effectively, it has to validate that it the bluetooth on the Plus is getting to the Convert. This took awhile for me. Once that is finished, you'll notice that on the "lock/unlock" page, where you press the button to lock and unlock, you'll have two small blue icons above the big circle, a house and a globe. The house icon returns you to straight connectivity to the Convert requiring proximity to the lock. Use the globe icon to lock/unlock through Kevo Plus. As you switch between the two, there's a short "searching" delay. Also note that it appears any device that you want to provide global access to must individually be paired to the Kevo Plus. I don't think this is a bad feature, and keeps eKey access issued to other under control. I have not attempted pairing a second device to validate this speculation, so not entirely sure if this would work with a device only given an eKey without "admin" level access to issue keys to others.Good...quick setup, worked per instructions without any particular angst.Bad...The instructions didn't really lay out the explanation of the globe option, so I sort of stumbled into that after the fact.Ugly...The pairing process went through several steps that resulted in the indicator ring changing to colors generally indicating a problem condition. Don't get nervous, just let it work through it's process, and eventually it will come out the back end successfully.

The hub makes it easy to use my Kevo
This hub improves the overall use of my Kevo. It makes it much easier to control access to my house. When we have a contractor coming over to work I can now let them in even if I'm away. No need to give them a temporary key or temporary access to my Kevo.Installation was pretty easy. The hardest part was finding a location that was accessible to my router as well as close enough to the lock - my current install is a good 20 feet away from the lock and it works fine. It does have to be hard wired to the router. If it had wi-fi connectivity it would be even better, but in my case its perfect. If you have a Kevo and want to be able to access it from anywhere, this is the product for you.

This "system" is hot garbage.
I bought 3 of these Kwikset locks only to find out that, if you want internet operability, you need this hub too. Sold separately. Fine, got it and installed it, no issues except that is just doesn't reliably work.Sometimes you tell the door to lock from an app, bam, done. Other times it just displays the spinning "working on it" icon... spinning and spinning and then "system failure, try again." Trying again, sometimes, bam, it works, and others it'll fail repeatedly. I've tried them in different configurations, dynamic vs static IPs, different distances to the doors... it's just random. That's worse than always failing, it's not trustworthy. Meanwhile I got one of those Defiant locks from Home Depot to see if it's the system or the lock. That lock works 100% of the time.Avoid Kwikset, get Defiant. Cheap, even easier install, works every time.

Works the my Kevo lock
The Bluetooth unit worked well. Had trouble with it finding my Kevo lock, it needed a fresh calibration but now I have access to the lock from anywhere which is what I wanted.

buen producto
Me encanto el producto lo único que no me gustó es que la integración con Alexa en México no está liberada e intente con una cuenta en US y el skill lo sacaron de momento pero funciona bien.

Works Well Easy to Setup
Don't Like that you have to by it separate. The lock is basically useless without it. Works well when i'm off site now that it is installed.
