BOYA V1 Wireless Microphones for iPhone with MFi Certified Lightning Port

Great product, works well and the sound is clear. Very good for the price! Easy to use and connect.

This was the fifth similar wireless microphone I tried from Amazon for around $30, and it is the ONLY one that does not add random bits of crackle and static to your audio! It also has a fuller audio sound than the runner up microphone I was going to keep until I found this one. This microphone looks like a totally different product design, packaging, and instruction manual from the others, while the others all looked made in the same factory with just very slight product variations and a different logo, so it was no surprise they all shared the same crackle problem while this microphone does not. I put this microphone through tests of loud airplanes flying low overhead (see video), strong winds, fans, weed whackers, and more, and it recorded well through all of it. No other microphone could consistently handle the planes or wind in noise cancellation mode without often crackling or having a delay before noise cancellation kicked in, but this one handles it all without missing a beat. I wish this came with a charging case or a USB power cord with a splitter so you could charge both mics from 1 USB port, or deadcat windscreens— like all the other microphones did. But in the end, the only thing that matters is having a microphone that doesn't randomly crackle! You can buy deadcats and cord splitters anywhere, but this is the only microphone I could find under $50 with crackle-free audio. UPDATE 1.5 years later: I've used these microphones for 1 hour almost every day for over a year, and they still work perfectly! I use them to record Spotify ads for clients and YouTube videos. I can't recommend them enough!

A little smaller than I thought, however, this is a mighty mouse of wireless microphones. I am very satisfied with the sound quality for recording.

Standard and affordable Bluetooth microphone. Very easy to use. The sound quality is decent if you want to make simple videos or record basic audio; however, if you want to record instruments or capture genuine high-quality audio, you might want to consider getting a more expensive microphone.

My son uses this to record YouTube videos while riding his motorcycle. In the videos his voice is very clear and easy to hear even over the motorcycle. I believe it cancels out some of the sound, like muffles it. He wears it inside his helmet and it’s been working great for him.

I picked up the BOYA BY-V20 wireless mic system as a temporary audio setup while traveling in Vietnam, and it has exceeded expectations. For something this compact and affordable, the sound quality is surprisingly solid, especially for casual vlogging or quick voice recordings on the go. But what really surprised me is how it’s become an unexpectedly useful translator tool. Instead of awkwardly swinging my phone around for people to speak into, I just clip the mic on them and let it feed directly into my phone’s translation app. It makes conversations with my Vietnamese friends much smoother and more natural. If you're traveling, creating content, or just need a versatile mic setup — this one’s a great value with more uses than you might expect.

Firstly- Remember that if you buy the BOYA BY-V (BY-V10), you are going to get: 1 wireless mic, 1 usb connector (type C) and a type c cable. It works well and is value for money. If you have trouble connecting initially, there may be some OTG and external mic settings you may want to check for. I checked out a few videos online and got the settings to use it on the default camera. Hope this helps! Did a lot of online reviews comparing different external wireless mics and this came highly recommended and the sound quality is good. Check out the video! P.S - This is not a paid review.
