Perfect! It's much larger than expected, its approximately the size of an old music vinyl album and really good quality. The tri-fold pull out book is made from thick compressed card, so the coins sit very securely in each of the recessed holes. I had been concerned about how safe they'd be, but you would have to actively pry them out for them to become lose.Interesting facts about each of the states on the inside covers (e.g. state nickname, national embelm, national bird etc).Very reasonable priced, wouldn't hesitate to buy for myself or to give as a gift.

After recently going on a tour of California and Hawaii where the tour manager had shown us his collection of state quarters, i'd come home with pockets of them!!! This is a lovely display item with plenty of info on it too. Now i've got to go back in order to complete the collection. How unlucky am i? It would be a great thing to take with you if you were taking the kids to the USA.......brill idea!

My sons were given a collection of american quarters from a dear friend, he had collected them all. The boys really enjoyed matching the quarters to the various states in the collection map. A great idea, and teaches the kids some geography too. They still have the maps on display in their rooms. The map stands up in a concertina shape allowing full viewing. Good quality.

Well made full of information. The size was not shown on the description and was a lot bigger than I thought it would be, about the size of an old LP sleeve too big for most bookshelves.

Since I was a child I've collected foreign coins 'on & off' so to speak & if I find one I keep it but nothing serious. On our visits to the USA I kept the state quarters that I received in my change & found that the 'State Series Quarters Collector Map' was just the thing I need to keep the quarters safe & display them. It is excellent value for money with a 'Fun Fact' section on each state along with the USA map to insert your coins in the respective states. I thoroughly recommend it. Collected the quarters when I was in Florida a few years back and have been looking for one of these to display them! I like how the display is of the USA map! :) would reccommend

This coin collector is great. The coins were easy to put and if there was a problem, fairly easy to remove again. The book itself is quite large, which I did not fully realize. The map inside is great, very colourful and well labeled. The added information in the inside cover was a great bonus too. I would recommend this collector book more for children as I believe it's geared more towards them, however I still really enjoy it. Overall great quality product for the price.

I bought two of these after reading overall very positive reviews for this item in Amazon. I bought these for my nephew and niece in INDIA as I think these (with the quarters in of course) would be excellent gift for them to learn more about US in a simple yet interesting way..Now, I must say I am extremely happy with my purchase and have to say that it is money well spent.Pros:easy to place the coins in their spots and they are held tight.. the most important thing I felt is if you want to replace a coin, it is easy to take one out and put another back in with ease and without any damage of the coin slot. I like the recess provided with each coin slot for this purpose.good and concise description of the states and overall a nice item to hold on to and display.nice and sturdy cardboard, but not too heavy.Consnothing significant.. minor points to mention which might be a bit of surprize.size: some people might find the size (even after folding) bit large.Extra slots: the album contains slots for the DC & US territories Quarters released in 2009 in addition to the 50 states.while the 50 state quarters are not that hard to find these 2009 quarters (Guam, US Virgin Islands, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and Northern Mariana Islands) are extremely hard to find in circulation. so chances are you might end up having your collection incomplete and have empty slots in the album.Summaryvery good product and certainly will recommend this.
