Great bird spikes!
Very simple to install. The plastic is sturdy and it doesn’t break easily. The size is perfect to cover small corners or specific small areas. Once that you glue them down, the spikes stay firm. So far,it is working well and the pigeons don’t like it and have been flying away from my roof!

Not sure if they scare the birds away, but I like them
I don’t think I’ve used these long enough to know whether they are working. But I do love the owls and the flicker of light when I see them.

Effective
Easy to assemble and very effective at keeping birds away when used at the beginning of spring. Need to use long rows of the little owls to work best. Because the owls are thin, high winds will sometimes break them and need to be replaced. However, this has been the best deterrent of all the ones I've tried.

Decorations for the Birds
I think they thought I had decorated their area, because it sure didn't stop them. Nice idea though. An otherwise interesting balcony ornament. There's nothing wrong with the product. Its easy to assemble. It just doesn't keep the birds away.

They are cute
I think the owl bird deterrents are cute. I like that you can make them any length you need or want. They are a hard plastic that is very shiny on both sides just like a mirror. I thought they were easy to put together once I figured how to open the circles. I got them because we had birds sitting in a tree that hangs over my patio rug. Every day there was bird poop on it. Since using these is no more bird poop. So I can say they are working for me.Well it’s September 7, 2023 and they are holding up great through wind and rain storms. A couple fell off the tree then but put them right back up. For me they are working beautifully. No more having to hose down my outdoor rug everyday. It doesn’t deter the birds from eating from my grape jelly and suet feeders that are partially under the tree to keep them in the shade. It’s a huge maple tree so they are about 10’ from where my rug is. Not scaring the birds completely away from my tree but definitely where I placed the bird detergents. If they get ruined or broken, I’d buy them again.

Don't expect to to be able to use clips that come with product
Really unfortunately ALL of the clips they gave to connect the mirrors are so hard to open, after only opening 3 my hands hurt so bad I cant get any more open... I really wanted to use these.. payed extra to get them sooner, and now i have to wait to get different clips, or return and get different product all together... really unfortunate , it wouldn't be so bad but the hinge on the clips are so tight even getting them past the "lock/bump" you still have to pry to them apart making most of them just stuck closed unless you want get physical strength involved.. which should not be needed to use a small clip...

Working for house sparrow problem
House sparrows are birdbrains. Nests every year in the same place. I've tried many methods to shag them away, including spikes. I also removed the nests every day. (The gutter nest problem was solved by my gutter cleaning guys, but not the bend in the downspout beneath.)I'm on about owl day six and so far, house sparrow free. Yay! I put up four differing lengths of the owls, close together around the downspout. This kit is a lot of bang for the buck. Well made, packaged nicely, and the string of owls will hold together with no problem. They sway and pivot easily with the hardware included. Light as a feather. I've had sunny, cloudy, and rainy days, but no nests. Sparrows still sit on my house chirping at me, but don't build. Will update as the summer goes on.Update: Still working. Do close off the bottom of the hook, as the chain of owls will jump off in windy conditions.
