Creative Deco Large White Wooden Box Storage with Hinged Lid

Very nice and solid box. Smells like pine.

I bought this to house a microscope when not in use. I tricked it out to not only fit the microscope but also the accessories. I put on a handle for picking up and carrying. I attached latches to prevent unintended opening. I stained it chestnut. I didn’t finish it as well as I could have if I spent more time but it’s not a piece of furniture, cabinet, door or molding so it is good enough for me.

This box is cheaply made. Not worth the money. The hinge broke as soon as I opened it. The lid is held open by a cheap ribbon stapled on each side. It is the worst color brown and smells as if it has just been painted. I could have done a better job making this box. It's going back!

I wanted to gift the Harry Potter hardback book collection I slowly gathered to give to my daughter for Christmas this year. I ordered the natural wood box with the intention of decorating the box myself. The box itself is a little expensive for the quality considering it has a particle board bottom, rough edges, and was cracked. I fixed the crack with wood glue and sanded the edges. I stained with oil based stain in walnut, added a clasp, added felt on the bottom inside, and stenciled her name on the top of the lid and a little quote on the inside of the lid. I kept the original hinges and colored the fabric strap holding the lid up. Everyone couldn’t believe I decorated it myself. And my daughter loved the box and of course the gifts inside. So it worked out really well.

I bought this for our Church to store memorabilia within it. We are about to celebrate our 125th year since our founding and there's a lot of programs and past directories that needed a "good safe home". This worked great. Good quality, opens well, about the right weight.

Pictures look like wood that's been varnished or lightly painted, but actually the top is looks like they just coated some paint on such that you can't see the wood grain at all. Also, came with a big scratch on the top. The hinges on the back were painted over and then the paint allowed to just crack as the hinges move. The thing preventing it from opening further is literally a bit of craft store ribbon stapled inside with one normal staple on each side

Husband and i used these to put on top of our oversized bedside tables to replace having drawers. These look so nice and sleek. Very great quality and put together well.

Updated Review: I was contacted by the creators of this box who wanted to guarentee customer satsifaction, and they offered me a replacement. The replacement arrived today and is a much better quality. The paint job is better and there are no dents/knicks in the woodwork. It seems to be of the quality I was expecting and will do well for what I need it for. I'm more than happy to recommend this product, and a big thank you for the customer service team for seeking me out. It was an unexpected pleasure, especailly during the Covid crisis. Original review: I'd been looking for a box like this for a few months and thought this would be ideal. It's for a gift box for my wife. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was let down. There were quite large debts6/knicks on the base and the paint on the top was t consistent, leading to patches. The only reason I'm not free returning this is due to the covid outbreak. In hindsight I should trusted the reviews more on here. I wouldn't recommend this product.
