It is big but very solid in the hand with excellent grip because the rubber pokes out all around, so the phone feels very safe in the hand, and the rubber back stops it sliding around on tables. The power button is awkward to push successfully, you need to get the knack of it, but unlike other reviewers I find a headphone/earphone jack fits perfectly: you just have to push it in hard and then the rubber grips it firmly. It does charge perfectly OK on my wireless charger, which is a Choetech triple core, so maybe has more power than others: another reviewer said they couldn't wirelessly charge it but I haven't had that problem. The one I received didn't have the prominent SEACOSMO branding on the case border as shown in the product photo, but I prefer this as more discreet. Case is very chunky but it feels pretty bulletproof: only loses a star because of the difficulty of pushing the power button successfully. Also includes the correct Allen key to tighten the screws, and a spare set of screws which is a nice touch. I chose the yellow version because the yellow border round the screen means if the phone's on a table in a dark place I can always see it, so I'm less likely to accidently leave it in a pub or club as I did with my last all-black phone... I ordered and tried out several cases from Amazon before I decided to keep this one, as although my S7 edge looks very sleek, the curved screen does make it much more difficult to protect, and this is the only case which made me feel secure. I returned all the others. A final point in its favour is that because the screen border protector clamps down on the phone from the front, its natural tendency is to hold a screen protector in place, rather than pushing up the edges from below as some other cases are prone to do. UPDATE after 10 months use: have dropped the phone onto concrete about four times from about four feet or so since fitting the case, and the phone is undamaged.

Full protection for the back of your phone only and considering it weighs about 8.6 tonne, I personally would not recommend unless u got arms like Arnold Schwarzenegger, and pockets like a royal marine commando although A commando wouldn't be able to swim with this in their pockets

This piece offered a military style of protection to your phone, it completely encased the unit allowing a good feel for the volume buttons as well as the power button.I can't speak for others as I don't have a screen protector however the sheer weight of this unit fills you with a sence of security I have absolutely not had with any other case protector.The use of colours, mime was good and black as I have a good phone compliments your unit expertly and whilst there were no instructions there were plenty of screws and it wasn't at all difficult to put this thing together, approximately 2 minutes with the Included locking nuts and tool.The one thing I really need to get accros is that the company are mountains above others when it comes to customer service.I had a small issue which was swiftly resolved by Sam.Thank you guys and I'll be sure to check out your Galaxy 8 versions in a few weeks when I upgrade!!The Reviewer

It is certainly the most robust mobile phone case I have had. Whilst it is not stylish or sophisticated and is quite bulky and heavy it WILL protect the phone and screen very well. It does not claim to be water proof and will not be so due to the necessary cutouts in the screen protector. It will protect from splashes and general dust and dirt. It is heavier and larger than most normal phone cases and of a similar size to other "heavy duty" and "rugged" phone cases, but heavier. All this information is given in the details. The combination of metal and rubber gives great protection, but comes with increased weight. It is exceptional value for money compared with most other "proper" rugged cases.

My last case lasted 1.5 years before i dropped my phone from 1ft high. The case's screen shattered but my phone's screen was intact thanks to the screen protector. No screen protector comes with this case, but it's okay.I really hope i'm not jinxing myself with this review, but i just love these cases. They can really take a hit. I dropped my phone plenty of times on concrete and it just had a few scratches but the phone was safe and unaffected. My only issue is that they're not exactly waterproof and sometimes a drop of water can slip underneath the screen so you have to take it apart and if you want to be able to hear through the speakers you need to puncture the slits for them or sound will be muffled.But all in all, i would not use any other case for my phone.

Poor quality design, did't take into consideration for screen protectors. I had to change 3 curved screen protectors in about 1 month time just because the aluminium frame was pressing down the screen itself, at the end I just gave up and decided to remove screen protector taking a risk wearing just the case, 3 weeks after my phone fell off and as a result my screen cracked. Do not recommend this product.

Your phone will not break. As a regular dropper/ breakwell of phones I need a case that is pretty heavy duty. This case stopped my phone from breaking. Its fallen downstairs. Off tables, onto concrete with no damage.Downsides, needs tiny Alan keys to to put together and the apart. Not great for when the phone wants to overheat. Doesn't allow for screen covers to sit easily, but one is possible. Even so with all that my phone did not break.I won't be buying this case for my s9 because I want a case with a screen protector with it. But I doubt I'll find a case as sturdy and as strong as this.
