We love these tags. They are easy to set up and use. Very stylish and helpful if your dog gets out of his or her boundaries. We have used this to find our dogs a couple times and I have been SO thankful for it. I’m very happy with this product and will be purchasing more.

I was looking for a small, lightweight, low cost, reliable option to use as a general location tracker for a model rocket I’m building. In order to recover the rocket after launch I needed a way to accurately locate it on the ground. This little tracker ticked all the boxes and it has other pluses too. It’s extremely easy and simple to set up and use with the Find My iPhone App. It took me only a few minutes and no trouble at all to get it up and running. Additionally, it has the customizable metal tag. In case my rocket does get lost, the tag, with my name, address, and phone number, increases the chances someone else might find it and contact me. It’s a great little tracker that I can highly recommend for its advertised uses.

This seemed to work well while the battery had life. I bought this in June and by December the battery failed. It seems that the case is held together with glue. The only way I could find to open the case so the battery could be replaced was to break the glue seal. I replaced the battery but the case will not stay closed. There are no lips or clips that can hold the two sides of the case together. I'm reluctant to glue it, again, since I'm not sure which type of glue will allow reopening the case, probably not superglue. When I sent an email message to the email given on the YIP website ([email protected]) I got a message that the email address could not be found. When I tried to submit a request for support using the button on their website, it requested my mobile phone number and said that I would receive a link to submit my request but I never received such a link. So, I surmise that support is not available. I caution against purchasing this item. The price doesn't seem worth a device that only lasts about 5-6 months.

This would be great for doggos who aren’t chewers. I wasn’t thinking when I bought it because he kept escaping but it does hang like a regular dog tog and mine was able to chew on it while he was in his cage, so I didn’t even get to use it for a full 3 days until he penetrated the GPS fully to stop working. However if your dog doesn’t chew on a-lot of things like mine especially when they’re bored, then this would be all together a great buy. It links to your find my iPhone function in your phone settings and it’s super simple to connect, just like a Bluetooth set up and it was spot on with the location of tracking.

We bought a Yip collar for our dog and cat. Our cat got locked up in a neighbors shed for 3 days. But we couldn’t find him and when we did, it was during a -20 degree cold snap. My Mother-In-Law recommended the Yip tag and I immediately ordered one for our dog and one for our cat. I’m so glad we did because the next week our cat slipped his collar trying to go back to the same shed. About 5-10 minutes of walking to the last location and playing the sound, we recovered his collar. (See pic). I love that it gives an accurate location and that you can play a sound to find it. The yip tags are worth the cost! It brings us so much peace of mind, especially for the cat we have!
