LOVE!
I got this for beach trips and I am so happy with my purchase. It came with a handwritten letter from the seller. I love the color and the quality is great. It does take some practice putting up, but after watching a few youtube videos it is easy to put up and provides great shade on the beach. I love that it folds up into a backpack for easy carrying on and off of the beach. It does not make any noise in the wind.

Light weight / easy set up / sustaining15mph winds
So you never know when buying these if they work or not. I read most of the reviews and compared the price and value of the canopies and I chose this one. So far I am thoroughly impressed. The set up took us about 10 minutes due to it being our first time but I knew from reading the reviews you need to stretch it out for it to work properly. We are directly on the water and the current winds are 15mph sustained and 19mph gusts. The canopy is doing great and taking the winds like a champ. The canopy lowers the temp and is a great sun shade. I recommend buying this. I almost bought another one that was similar but double the price and has not as many reviews and stars. Also the bag it comes in is great. I really love the fact the instructions are printed on the pole baggy so your more than likely not going to loose them like a peice of paper or booklet.Update: it is extremely windy and sustaining winds of 21mph on the beach today. The canopy is doing great. Tip: fill the bags with more sand on extremely windy days and you may have to stretch it every couple of hours. This thing is still great. You could fit 3-4 Adirondack chairs comfortably to get the shaded area. If you added more with high noon sun you would have some chairs only getting partial shade.

So far so good
Have been looking for a beach shade that was lightweight, large, easy to assemble/disassemble, affordable, and durable because I was tired of buying a new beach umbrella every summer and this seems to hit all those markers.Pros:- Great color and pattern that stands out on a crowded beach.- perfect for a family of 4 and all of our beach belongings fit nicely underneath in the shade.- was relatively easy to assemble.- Love the QR code directions on the bag-carry bag and smaller organized bags to hold everything- all materials and parts seem very durable. The poles are a thicker metal & the plastic feels pretty hard. The shade material itself is thick & all the cords feel sturdy.Cons-- heavy, but I guess that comes with the size and sturdiness of the materials so not really a con- Carry bag either needs a longer (adjustable) strap to go Crossbody or two straps to backpack style. I am only 5’1 & relatively thin and it was difficult to get the strap cross body style on me. Because when one hand has to hold a toddler & the other hand is holding another beach bag/ chair being able to carry something on my back is definitely a plus especially when i am the only adult.- I feel like if I really needed too I could set this up by myself, but having a second pair of hands is definitely helpful. I had my daughter hold the first pole up while I did the other three poles, on a very windless day at the beach & it took me about 10 mins of adjusting both the polls and bags to get everything standing straight. I do wish the poles had a pointed end, which would make getting them into the sand a little bit easier as well. The only other test I have to put to it is when we actually have some wind on the beach.

Best Beach Canopy Ever
After vacationing on various beaches for the past 20+ years, I was tired of replacing damaged umbrellas and having limited shady space throughout the day. This canopy was the perfect addition to our haul, and I can't recommend it enough.I purchased a waterproof blanket from this company previously, and the quality was outstanding, so I decided to try this product, as well. Like the blanket, the fabric and stitching of this canopy are of the highest quality. I can't stress the value for your money enough. We used this canopy for a week in the 4x4 area of the Outer Banks. Winds were strong and unpredictable, but it held up like a champ.Tips we learned when setting up: • Make sure you insert the poles BEFORE you fill the bags with sand. We reversed those steps in the beginning, and the canopy became unsteady. You'll want to lay out the fabric, insert poles, bury sandbags, and then stand up poles—IN THAT ORDER. • Overload the sand bags! If you don't absolutely bury the sandbags, strong wind can pull them and make the canopy lean. • When you fill the sandbags, make sure the canopy fabric is stretched out tight before standing the poles. The tighter, the better! •In short, once you learn the proper technique (which sounds much more complicated than it really is) this canopy just cannot be beat. The quality, value, performance, instructions, packaging...just everything is A++++++
