Britax Römer Romer Evolva Car Seat, Group 1/2/3 - Black Thunder

Waited a few months in order to write the review based on experience and not only impression. What I can say is the following: we really like this seat a lot! It is very easy to install (honestly don't understand reviewers who claim it's tricky to have the seat placed properly!), stable and comfy. Our daughter is now 15 months old and has been sitting (and sleeping, whenever she fell asleep while in the car) in it very comfortably for the last 3-4 months. Have tried a few other car seats meanwhile e.g. when travelling abroad in rent cars, other family members' cars etc. and must say this is my favourite one - as mentioned, very easy to place in the car in first place, very sturdy and sits very well in the car, the harness looks very soft comfy but still strong and does not include any metal parts that could come in contact with the child's skin (which is important during the summer when any metal parts can get burning hot, something that has happened with one other seat we have used) and it seems to be really very comfortable both when our little girls is awake and asleep (when asleep, the child's head is quite stable and never lolls around as, again, it has happened with another car seat we have used). Plus, the car seat has a nice design and good quality materials (incl. textile). Very recommended!

Having worked out the installation requirements - threading the seat belt through the back of the chair, this has now been used extensively in our car. With our little one forward facing, she is able to see out and also see Mum or Dad driving the car and can interact far more than in her Group 0 rearward facing car.The recline is not as pronounced as I would perhaps have liked (or got from a more expensive seat) but she's able to sleep comfortably so not a big deal in my mind.So far, no complaints at all. We've even bought a second one for the grandparents car.

Very good seat, easy to fit in my ford focus. Price fluctuates across different retailers but I picked it up on here for £80 which seems reasonable. Haven't had it for long so can't comment too much but I've driven from Somerset to Oxford and back with my almost 4 year old in it and he was comfortable. Seen some comments that its difficult to fit - it isn't unless perhaps it is not suitable for your car or you are not very good at fitting car seats.

Solid seat my toddler loves it, only downside it that is doesn't tilt easily. You need to release the seat and fold it for that. But we're not really doing long journeys so if he nods off its fine and only for short time. Fits great in Nissan X-Trail 2016 model, I had a few that didn't fit great but this does. Installation takes about 2 minutes. Mainly making sure the belt is tight, but it's by far the easiest one fitted over the 4 seats we've had with our 2 kids, over past 8 years.

great car seat,bought to replace an isofix one i had this one is so much handier as not all cars have isofix but fitted properly this was just as secure i suggest watching youtube video as instructions were not great,my son looks very comfortable and secure in it and i would have no problem recommending this i bought it when it was on a deal but would have had no problem paying full price

Really good seat expect the recline is barely there I have 2 in the car one on recline and 1 not and you can't really see any difference so a bit disappointed for my 18 month girl excellence for my 3 year old son

I looked around and as far as value for money is concerned, this is a great car seat! It grows with the child and is easily transferable from car to car. It is a little bulky but feels strong and safe..what more can I say!

This is an absolute nightmare to fit. The instructions are totally useless. After spending a whole day trying to work it out I have given up !! Don't buy it unless you fit car seats for a living.
