I had similar issues as many - worked fine for a couple days, then kept getting red light & beeping on the parent room unit which was confusing to fix. (It may be in the instructions) but I finally figured to always turn on the baby unit first (which we always leave plugged in), then plug in the parent room unit into wall and then turn on. And do the reverse order in the morning (unplug parent room unit first then turn power off, then turn power off baby unit) and it's yet to lose the connection pairing since then. If you do have to recalibrate the pairing for the units because of red light/beeping, the method in the instructions works - turn them off, then place side by side and turn on and hold power button down on both units for a couple seconds together.

These are great! Wonderful around the house, and I like that both the mother unit and the portable unit use the same charging port, so I can leave both chargers plugged in and move the mother unit between two rooms easily and just charge the portable as needed.However after about two weeks of use, the mother unit won’t stay on for long (2-20min usually). I believe it’s an issue with the connection of the charging cable and the port. Returning this set. Probably will re order and try again.

This is as basic as it gets. For the price I like that both the parent and baby monitor come with chargers. I also like the feature that makes the monitor go off only after a certain level of noise. It also has a wide range for volume. The sound is terrible and staticky but I guess I don't really care as long as I know when my baby cries. Certainly nothing fancy but it gets the job done

I got this for my 91 year old Mom who moved in with my daughter and has her bedroom down stairs while everyone else is upstairs. She is legally blind and wanted to keep it simple. We have it set up in her room so all she has to do is say something and the other monitor can be moved around and allows us to communicate with her. It is clear without background noise. The only downfall is the battery life is about 20 hours but they let you know that upfront. Also it only comes with 1 adapter where it should come with 2 but they want you to purchase a second one knowing you will need it. All I can say on that is Willcare, please include two adapters so you know you are always connected to hear the ones you love! Because of that I dropped it to a 4 star rating.

Update March 2018: I have downgraded this product from 5 to 2 stars. The parent monitor only operates on battery power. Even if plugged in, if the battery is not charged the monitor will not operate. This is a serious design flaw and because of it, I cannot recommend the product.Original review: Simple to set up and use. I use it to listen in on my 90 year old mother at night and it works great.

The sound is awesome. The background noise cancellation is so great. The fact that you can charge it and go wireless is wonderful. I love the night light feature and the talk-back feature.BUT... The fact that it only comes with one charger cord and you have to buy a second one that is compatible with the unit in order to use it stinks. We keep the baby side plugged in at all times, so we had to buy a second cord for it, rather than switching back and forth between charging them. And both get unplugged or one dies you have to re-sync them which is also annoying. But once you get the hang of the quirks, these are seriously awesome. Sigh. So close.

My last baby monitor set I liked and I wanted something similar. This one is a lot better. Using the USB instead of having to put batteries in is a nice feature. I like that there is a clip on the listening monitor so you can attach it to your pants while being able to go downstairs or upstairs but still hear your baby when you are at distance in your home. There is a good sound and not a lot of static. The directions are easy to understand and it is easy to set up. Great to use for your baby or keeping tabs on your little ones while they nap or sleep. I would recommend this to you.

I ordered this for occasional use only so I wasn't looking for anything pricey or "the best". I just wanted it for when my grandson comes to stay the night so I wouldn't have to bring the pack and play into the living room. Both units charged okay but once I moved the baby unit into his room, it wouldn't come on anymore. I kept it plugged just in case but it never worked again. Fortunately, I was able to return it but for some reason they only gave me $10.00 credit to my amazon account. I have no idea why, maybe because it wasn't in the box? Well, when you purchase an item you don't plan on it not working. I ended up using my credit to buy the V-tech monitor which is cheaper actually and works great.
