I am a CNA and decided to purchase this for work. It's better than having the patient use the oral thermometers. Quick and so far accurate. The patient love it that they do not have to have something foreign in their mouth for a while or I have to wake up the patients at night. I use it on the forehead. You do have to touch and slide the thermometer from one side of the forehead to the other. The patients like to see the Green symbol and know they are good within twmp range. This is not the No Touch Thermometer. Once my co workers have seen me using the device, they often ask me to borrow it so they get complete their vitals sooner. The next question is always - Where did you buy it from? Of course - Amazon!

This is unreliable. I get temps from 90.7 to 101 in consecutive takes. I do not trust this product at all for my temp. You will be better off trying a different thermometer this is garbage.

This thermometer is a piece of junk. I should have listened to the negative reviews. The ear thermometer was off by a few degrees occasionally right from the start, even though that function is supposed to be more accurate than the forehead thermometer. And now a couple months later the forehead is completely off. My son is burning up with a fever, super hot compared to me, and both thermometers say he's around 97.6-98.3 degrees, depending on whether I use the ear or forehead function. Few hours ago he felt hot, not quite as hot, and he was 100.0. So clearly wrong right now. The return window just closed so now I'm stuck with this. I thought maybe a few people in the reviews just got duds and I'd be fine. I was wrong, it's just a bad product. Another thing to note, the buttons are easily bumped so this is always going off in my diaper bag. The batteries will probably die soon because of it.I used to have a temporal thermometer that only lasted a couple years before it died. I loved that thing and it was always spot on. I thought I'd save myself the trouble of replacing my thermometer every two years by trying another brand. Now I have to get another temporal thermometer after only two months.

This thermometer is FANTASTIC!! The very day after I received it, our 3 year old granddaughter spent the night. She woke up with a sore throat and achy ears. I checked her temperature both on the forehead and then in her ear. Not a bit of fussing from her because it reads instantaneously!! She even smiled & said, "Grammy, you do it like the doctor."

This thermometer works like a charm! Being a mom of two young boys, trying to get them to stay still enough to put a thermometer under thier tongue or armpit is a huge hassle! This thermometer saves the day and takes less than 2 seconds to either swipe across their forehead or stick it in their ear. Readings are there in am instant! Definitely recommend!!

A normal oral thermometer made from a company that supplies hospitals has my temperature at the normal range. This thing says 99, then 101, then 102, all in the same ear within the same minute! Not to mention I will take my left ear temp, then my right ear will always be higher immediately after. Then the forehead is completely different from that too. This thing serves absolutely no purpose and is no help! It is inaccurate and won’t tell you if you have a fever or not because you can’t trust it.I’m lucky that I have access to hospital products as a family member works as a distributor.DONT BUY this piece of junk.

My doctor recommended the Proven thermometer and I got one. It works well. We like it.

what I liked about it is you have 2 in 1 so you can check your temp by ear or forehead it's a brillant dual mode thermometer to have with you at home or if your away on holiday I am very pleased with mine it could save a lot of lives plus saves a lot of time for doroctor as well.
