Works great but isn't Zinc Phosphate.
I believe True Zinc Phosphate is banned due to its toxicity, I wouldn't use it if it was. It was mostly used for building airplanes. This is a good primer for Aluminum. Goes on thin which is what I want because I use this on mating surfaces when I'm riveting a non- AL-CAD piece. Once assembled, applying a self etch alum primer using a spray gun to everything. This is great as I don't need to convert my garage into a spray booth each time I have a small part to prime.

Fast dry as soon as you spray it down
This primer is great,it covers well and dries super fast,made some door kick plates from aluminum for my camaros,now will hydrodip them and clear coat,Awesome spray base coat..

Contains Zinc?
Coverage of this primer is poor. Highly doubt it contains Zinc Cnromate.

Just what I was looking for

"D" this primer is lousy
Cheap price, get what you pay for. Spray dispersion is a small area requiring lots of back n forth and the little spray head is VERY hard to press (fingers hurt after a couple of minutes). Coverage is so thin, you have to make coats to buildup any amount of primer to sand. Spend the extra money and buy a good coating primer with a large spray head, ITS WORTH IT!
