Keeps my hair white and not have yellow on the ends. Does not make your hair look blue. I have used this for a very long time and keeps my hair white the color that I became in my 30's. (That is not a lie.) My grandma was prematurely gray also.

Have used other brands of silver shampoos but this one is by far the best for my hair. Doesn't leave a deposit of color but tones down yellow. Leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny, adds texture - have made this my regular shampoo.

This is hands down the best smelling violet shampoo I have ever used. It leaves my hair smelling so good for days! It seems to prevent my bleached blonde from bronzing out in between touch-ups as well, and I'm a "salon visit twice per year" kinda person

I first was introduced to this product line about 7 years ago. I had started getting grey and didn't like the look one bit! New beautician recommended this line of products to me and I am now stuck on it. If I go to any beauty shop or at home I take these products with me. It removes the yellow, and makes the silver shine!

I have been through a number of shampoos after I stopped coloring my hair in 2010 and it has been a struggle to find one that didn't turn my hair to straw or turn it blue or purple. I used the Pantene Silver Expressions shampoo for a while but then my hair started to turn purple and I never liked the Pantene conditioner which made my hair feel greasy afterwards. So I switched to the Loreal shampoo for white/silver hair and it was initially fine except I started to notice that the gray patch by my forehead was developing an unpleasant yellowish tinge. My hair stylist gave me a toner to get rid of the yellow but I disliked putting it on and waiting for it to process so I decided to look for something else. This Regis shampoo looked promising although there were only a few reviews so I got the 10 oz. bottles of both to try. I was a little skeptical that it would work but after using both 3-4 times, there is a silvery shine to my hair and I am quite happy with how the conditioner makes my hair feel. My hair stylist suggested I alternate a regular shampoo and one meant for silver/white hair so I will try that too. I am giving 4 stars for now and will update that rating after a few months as I see how this shampoo and conditioner does on my hair over a longer period of time.

Used it before when I was younger, loved it then. Found it again and love it still. Purple shampoo and blue conditioner, works wonders!

I love this shampoo! It gives my hair wonderful body and makes it smell great. I have one silver streak in the front. I’ve only used this product 3 times so I can’t comment yet on the shampoo’s effectiveness in keeping the color looking good.
