This is an OK basic step counter. You can clip it onto your clothes or you can hang it via the lanyard string. My partner chose to clip it and it was OK for him but I think it tracked far more than what he was doing which i cannot prove now. I chose the next day to wear it also to compare with my step counter on my watch, wishing now that I had hung it as I cannot prove my theory as it fell off and I lost it and never fully got the time to trial it. Definitely hang it or secure it to something with the strap if your going to clip it to you to save it falling off and losing it.

Simple but effective step counter.
I gave this step counter to my elderly father. He isn't very tech savvy and isn't interested in smart watches, or phone apps that seems him spiralling into technical confusion. But he is fairly active, and he would like to measure his steps throughout the day. And this simple, but effective, pedometer is just the ticket. It can be clipped onto a belt, or pocket, or be worn around the neck on a lanyard. It has a clear and simple display and suits his needs perfectly. Recommended.I always try to write an honest and unbiased review of all the products I order. My reviews are only my opinion, of course, but I hope they help.
