NeuroSky Puzzlebox Orbit Brain-Controlled Helicopter / MindWave Mobile Bundle

Ordered this for my man for xmas as he loves his flying machines, and also thought would be helpful to develop focus and concentration for his work presentations etc.., but was very disappointed with its lack of functions and once you've mastered the concentrating your thoughts and focus so the helicopter can lift off( which took us both about 2-3minutes!) then that's it really! It can only go up and down and hover abit but you have no control of direction apart from that. I thought you would be able to fly it around the room or house by using the power of your mind waves and get some real training out of it. No doubt this is what the developers aim to be able to do with it and hopefully will soon be able to bring out updated versions that are able to do that. Didn't think it was worth the money and having to wait for an indefinite period of time for the extra Apps to be developed. Plus it kind of malfunctioned after 10minutes use. Sadly returned and received immediate refund from Amazon.

I bought this for my 9 year old son. It's very fiddly to get going and a bit temperamental (often needs turning on and off again to get it going).To be honest, my son lost interest after he realized it wasn't as good as advertised and he certainly wouldn't be able to set it up on his own.My other son (11yrs old) however, appeared to enjoy it more.I would advise you only use it indoors and not near any precious ornanents.It's very susceptible wind, we had to retrieve if off the roof a couple of times!

Don't work... mindwave it's ok program ok. Helicopter doesn't work and test doesn't work too
