Great construction bit still not perfect.
Seems that no one can figure out a way to lube cables without creating a mess. This doesn't change the challenge. The build quality is pretty good but it is made of some plastic which worries.Compared to v2, this is a huge improvement, but more complicated and he instructions are not great. The way I understand it, you're supposed to insert the cable sleeve with the metal cap sticking out from the rubber cone but a few mm, then tightening the assembly. The weird thing about the rubber cone is that it has a split in it. I'm not sure if there's another way for them to do it without this split. Then you would insert the lube can straw in there and spray a bit. If you spray too much then it will squirt all the lube out and throw the straw somewhere across the garage. It worked once I noticed filthy lube dripping out of the bottom. It's good, but still such a hassle.

Effortless cable maintenance
I love how easy it is to lubricate cables on everything from dirt bikes to lawn mowers. There’s nothing worse than dealing with a sticking or broken cable when you’re out in the woods. Keep your cables in top shape! Lubricate them regularly and avoid the unnecessary hassles!

Great cable lube tool
I find the lube tool easy to use, not nearly as messy as other lubers. I have used on my JetSki cables but it will work for just about any cable. Great products.

Nice design but cannot be used with many types of cable.
Will not work with Mercury outboard shift or throttle cables.

Worked for me!
Been trying to write more Reviews, especially for products that work for me. I was trying to lube the Throttle Cables on an older Harley Softail. I tried some YouTube "hacks" and spent two hours accomplishing nothing, wasting Lube and making a mess ... so i broke down and bought this thing. Was VERY skeptical, especially at the bad reviews of the older models. But this one/new design worked perfectly, i was shocked to be honest! I even shot the lube in "backwards" from the bottom end of cable (that attaches to carb) since the top end has an "L" shape so you can't get the "Luber" attached. It's gonna make a little bit of a mess, but sure as heck, the Lube shot out the top of the Cable in like 3 seconds ... shot all the old black crud out too, so i am very happy and pleased with the result. Don't lose the Black Rubber Grommet Thing, i think that is the "trick" so keep it safe! The V3 is a little "pricey", but worked great for me so worth it.

Just the thing you need to keep clutch cables in shape.
My clutch had become a little stiff so I purchased the Motion Pro tool and some cable cleaner. Took just a few minutes to disconnect the clutch cable, attach this little beast, and shoot lubricant down from the lever end to the engine end of the cable. Should have wrapped a rag around the engine end as the cleaning fluid shoots out all over. Cleaned that up, lubed the clutch lever and the clutch arm connecting to the transmission, hooked the cable up, and set the free play. Much better! Will do this on an annual an annual baisis from now on to keep the clutch in good condition.
