I have brutalized these sandals
What better way to break in a pair of sandals than to take them (plus some wool socks) as your ONLY footwear on a four day remote camping/canoeing trip? I flew across the country to the Adirondacks, slogged through lake shores, hiked the mountains, drank too much beer and stumbled through the woods/around a campfire, and (unfortunately) took a dart in the big toe during a poorly designed campsite game (I can not blame the sandals for this).Pros:- These things flex with your natural foot movements beautifully. If you're the hippy type that ever read "Born to Run," enjoy your enhanced connection to mother earth in all her pokey, piney-ness- The "quick release" feature is beautifully convenient and more durable than it looks. Go from barefoot to straight-up strapped in seconds!- Comfortable -- they're perfect for easy walking/relaxing without socks during the day, and pair wonderfully with your favorite snazzy foot woolies- Durable--from sharp rocks, frigid waters, to hot bonfire stones, these puppies will take a grown man beatingCons:- You will not win any fashion innovator awards. Be certain your relationship with your partner/spouse is as durable as these sandals- You may find yourself extending use cases for these things to public places where your practicality is under appreciated. Trend lightly in the 'Burbs.

Great product. Well designed and well made
This is my second pair of Teva sports sandals and will certainly not be my last. The last pair I beat up for over five years doing just about any and everything including in the garden pushing a wheelbarrow. It is comfortable, light, cool, stylish and fits my feet like it was made specially for my feet. Arch support is very good as I have very high arches so walking is very comfortable with it. I haven't tried it yet on wet slippery river rock but if it is as good as my last pair, I don't expect any problems there. Will definitely recommend this brand as it is a very good quality and reasonably priced so it represents very good value.

Get the right size and there's nothing finer.
I was irrationally excited to get these in the mail today. I've been using "slide" sandals for a while, which are great and very convenient, but suck for running around. I haven't had a pair of Tevas in years, so getting them back on my feet was like a homecoming for my feet.I ordered the Hurricane model in a 14 - which is the size that fits me in every other shoe out there. They were HUGE. I returned them with no problem (via Amazon) and since the 13s were more expensive, I poked around and was even happier to find the Holliway. The hurricanes were like the original teva, but with a sportier sole. These have the sportier sole, but the strap setup is significantly better. The lining under the strap is much more comfortable and the buckle is a game changer for Tevas. Usually you have to unvelcro the main top strap and adjust a couple of times when you put them on. Now, you adjust it once and use the buckle forever after. WAY better.I'll keep an eye on the sole to see if the glued sections keep together. Fingers crossed.Initial impression - extremely satisfied.

Excellent urban sandal for walking.
This is my year round walking shoe and as such I get about ten months out of it before the tread is slick. The rubber soles are fairly tacky and give pretty good traction on rock and road surfaces but wear fast. That is a fair trade off for me. I would rather have the sole wear out more quickly than risk anymore slips.Good support and comfort. I love the quick release buckle. It really extends the life of the velcro. They make this in a version without the quick release buckle and the velcro is worn out within 8 months (daily use). The only down side is that this is not a water sandal and you will destroy the straps by walking in them if they are soaking wet. Walks in the rain on level roads where I am not stressing the wet strapping appear to be harmless. Climbing Stone Mountain Georgia with them dry does them no harm. Continued use, while soaking wet, on steep inclines, would ruin them in my opinion. This is my second pair. Third pair in this series. The quick release buckle version is my favorite and the hardest to find.Highly recommended urban walking sandal.

Not the TEVAs you expected
I have had TEVA sandals before and I loved them. I especially liked the ones with the clip on the side. I specifically bought these because the were very similar to the previous ones I owned and loved. These new ones started coming apart right away. The main problem is the straps pulled out from the shoe base as soon as any moisture came in contact. I was able to use “shoe goo” adhesive to repair the strap to the slot in the sole when I read-inserted it. I would have the problem with one strap, I would fix it, then another would come out. I would fix that one, then another would come out. This happened over and over until every strap (8 total) pulled out. They really can’t be fixed until the strap actually pulls out (usually at the most in opportune time). I believe they are using some cheap, water based glue that does NOT work. Even though I have loved the comfort and fit of TEVAs, I would recommend you not waste your money on this once fine product. They seem to have gone to CHEAP without reducing the price.

Great for getting wet, good on trails.
Great in and around the water, buckle on the main strap is what i was looking for quick on and off of the sandal. Comfortable, durable good grip when things get wet.

Comfort and quality
Was very pleased to see the comfort and quality are still there with this company. My last pair lasted more than 10 years and are still in decent shape but I wanted something new. Great support for your feet and highly recommended

My second pair
These last very well and offer excellent fit and comfort. I've worn Nike ACG, Merrell, and Columbia. These are the best of the lot.
