Magnat Signature 507 3-Way Floorstanding Speaker - Mocca

I have owned Emotiva T0+, JBL 570, Infinity 263 and Goldenear Triton 7's (all similar sized except Infinity); for music I enjoy the Magnat 507's better than all of the above except maybe the GE Tritons (the Tritons have sweeter highs and tighter bass, though not as full sounding). The highs are extended and detailed, not harsh but sharp. They have sparkle. The mids are a present. The bass is prominent. Not boomy but not tight like the Tritons. I used these outdoors for movie night (~40 ppl, lawn size ~50x50). These had no problem playing loud and clear (using XTZ A-300). These aren’t the best speakers I’ve heard, but in its price range they might be. I like them and would buy them again

I came across this name recently, I'm not a audiophile, but I think I have a good sense for music, I can't really say that I've heard better than these in this price range. Maybe one of the best under $400.00, they do sound great. The 505 and the 507 both sound great, I don't know of any speakers that won't have a better sound with a subwoofer, but there are very good without any help from a subwoofer, I think most people will enjoy the sound. i like the way they sound and would recommend
