Revo Rocket Spinning Fishing Reel

This is the most expensive reel I’ve ever purchased. It’s silky smooth, balances nicely with my 2B 6’10” rod, has a great drag, and is obviously built with solid components. I love it so far. But, I question why the heck does a good fishing reel have to be this expensive? I can afford to splurge on one, but that’s it.

Excellent product and value casting is smooth and drag is great order the correct drag looking for

Love Abu Garcia Reels this is our second one, this reel the AG Revo3 Rocket is smooth, the quality is top notch but a little spendy like my wife's AG Premier 30 on the right side in the picture. The Trout and Bass have no idea what's coming I can't wait LOL. This reel is really good for 2-16 lb. fish, and the drag will crank down to 11 lbs. I'm in AZ now not AK so the gear is much different so I'm still learning. Good buy just remember to keep it lubricated like all mechanical things.

They got it right when they named it rocket. I have a lot of fast retrieve reels for walleye and bass. This has a great retrieval rate, and the right amount of drag. Super smooth to operate. Two of my fishing buddies each bought one after using mine.

Great real and awesome price.

Very solid and smooth operation. Performs great with a fast retrieval. But like others have mentioned occasionally the line can get caught under the spool. I still feel it's a great reel and will definitely get another. Hopefully it will last a good while. Then I can say it's a good value. 👍

Love it!

Nice reel super smooth cast and retrieval .

After two months of using it I don’t recommend it. I can feel how the gears grind inside, not at all as smooth. It is disappointing because I have another similar model and doesn’t have the same issue after one year of usage.

Avoid this reel. Bail isn't set properly. The handle is not smooth as it should be at this price point. Honestly feels similar to a lower end Mitchel. In comparison even my cheaper Shimanos feel better and smoother. I was beyond excited for this speedy reel and wish they had the quality of Shimano. As tempting as it may be I would not buy this reel and stay away from Abu Garcia products in the future. Honestly feels like they raised their prices in an attempt to seem higher end, instead they should have been producing a superior product.

Very fast retrieval, caught mackrel, perch and some trout with this beast

Reel came broken been on holidays got back excited 2 use and could use even put together poor.
