The quick-release NATO clamp is a standout feature, allowing swift attachment and removal from my SmallRig Camera Cage. The versatility of this kit is impressive, with 3 cold shoes and 1/4” 3/8” ARRI threads providing ample options for mounting accessories like lights, microphones, or monitors. The build quality is top-notch, and the design seamlessly integrates with my existing gear. The robust construction ensures durability, and the overall aesthetic adds a professional touch to my video setup. If you’re in the market for a reliable and versatile top handle with NATO rail compatibility, the NEEWER kit is a fantastic choice. It has become an integral part of my videography toolkit, and I highly recommend it to fellow filmmakers and content creators.

This top handle is comfortable, not too bulky, and not too pricey. It looks good too. There is nothing to not like. The contour for the index finger is nice too, thick rubber underneath and a bunch of attachment points, to include cold shot on front and back, as well as threaded 1/4 and 3/8 arri. Get this top handle and be happy! Have a great day!

Perfect for little cages. Works great

Queda en mi canon r6 Mark ii espectacular, buena calidad y buen ligero

This brand produces high-quality camera equipment at an affordable price. This small handle is perfect for my camera!

Not sure what to say other than it was pretty much worth it.

Not bashing this product at all, maybe just some design insight. I own quite a bit of Neewer gear. They make great products and at an affordable price. This handle is super comfortable and fits nicely in your hand, that is unless you put a Microphone in the cold shoe. At least for the Rode video Mic Pro+. As you can see in the photos, once the mic is put onto the top, there isn't enough room for my hand to comfortably hold onto the handle without bumping into the mic or putting strain on the mic cable. Certainly not enough room for me to capture the weight of my Sony in the meat of my palm in a comfortable and supporting position. Feels like I'm dangling a fairly expensive camera from the pads of my fingers, instead of holding it firmly in my hand. This would be perfect if either the cold shoe was a half inch further forward, or the handle was half inch longer in the back. I own several top handles and this is the only one that I own, that gives me that insecurity of a good stable hold on my camera rig. Without the Mic it's perfect, and for that reason I'll be keeping it, plenty of slo mo I can capture without needing the Mic. I look forward to seeing if this is upgraded version or a longer handled version so that I can have this grip comfort, and have my Mic attached. Willing to do a video update if newer wants to send me an updated version, or longer handle version. But I do love the Nato rail and the comfort of the handle, without the Mic.

I got a Smallrig cage for my GH5 Mark 2 and I've had 3 top handles, this is my favourite. I got the camera for a documentary about Graffiti/StreetArt, however most of my time is spent using the camera for photography and I don't need the top handle for that - I usually use the EVF and a top handle pokes me in the eye! This means I wanted a top handle I could easily remove. The other 2 top handles I used were either screwed on, or used a ARRI locator - they were brilliant but a bit of a faff to remove/install when I wanted to switch between photo/video mode. That's where this really impresses, the handle is attached using a Nato rail clamp, so all you need do is turn the lever and you can slide the handle on/off. My Camera cage doesn't have a nato rail at the top, but this handle comes with a nato attachment which I leave permanently attached to the cage. It's pretty low profile so it's no problem to leave it screwed on, and it means I can very quickly clip my top handle to the cage. The nato rail has pins either side so even if you were to accidentally unlock the lever, the handle would move to the end of the short rail but it would not come off. This represents great value, instead of buying a separate handle and nato rail - you get both, it comes with the hex wrench too to attached the nato rail. The handle is very comfortable to hold, it has a soft, rubbery grip on the inside so it is easy to grip and isn't cold in winter!! It also has several cold shoe mounts, ARRI and various screw hole sizes for attachments. My only complaint is that the white text/graphics on top don't look as "clean" as a plain black design, but it's such a small thing it's barely worth mentioning, and some people might find it useful anyway! In a nutshell: A cheaper alternative to the Smallrig handles, but Neweer is an excellent brand and this top handle is a premium item which may well last me for decades! That fact that it comes with a Nato attachment is fantastic.

Perfect fit
