Very poor manual. If you do not have experience of IR testing I suggest you steer clear of this product. The manual appears to be a translation from Chinese to English but (I can only assume) was not proof read by someone with English as their first language. If you were hoping the manual would clearly instruct you in the usage of the product - forget it!

Great for DIY or hobbyists

Compared to the more expensive brands this presents wonderful value for money for diy and hobbyists.Maybe, if you need one professionally, it would be worth shelling out lots of extra money. But, for me, I'm more than happy with my purchase.

A bargain for its money, it has a calibration cert of sort with it ( from the date it left the factory) but for its price I will just buy another next year instead of getting it calibrated
