It works and is pretty easy to use!
Fantastic product! Pool company wanted a few hundred dollars to remove stuck pool anchors, and for $60 i was able to get this tool and remove them all myself. The kit was easy to use (although it doesn't come with instructions) but i followed the instructions on the images on the Amazon listing. I removed 3 stuck anchors including one that was stuck for 2 years and i had tried everything including spraying with WD-40 and using vice grips to turn it. This was the only thing that removed the anchors and far less than a professional wanted to charge.

Works well
Great product. This solved a major safety issue with 20-year-old corroded anchors. I was able to pull out six with no problem. I could easily do another 10 because this thing is pretty strong. Not sure why people are saying it only pulled out a few before becoming useless. I learn how to use it on YouTube and I’ve been very happy

It's ok. For $60 it could be better
I have pulled 8 anchors so far with this kit and am planning to pull many more as they are all original to my recently acquired 21 year old pool. Here are my observations:1. It is surprisingly easy to use. Once I got the hang of it with the first one I pulled the others in about 30 minutes.2. Wear gloves and bring a hand vacuum. This will protect your knuckles and help with cleanup of the brass shavings that will come out of your new threads. Your future poolside bare feet will thank you too.3. The threaded bolt will occasionally get stuck in the old anchor. Give it a wack on the concrete or with a hammer and the anchor will let go of the bolt. It might take more than one wack.4. The threaded bolt is the achilles heel of this kit. Mine is unlikely to survive another 8 anchors, the threads are what is doing much of the work and they are showing the wear. This isn't the end of the world as the tap is 5/16"-18 and the bolt is 4", available for less than $5 online including shipping. These bolts cost just over $1 each in bulk. For me, the steel plate is the most valuable component because I don't have the tools to fab one myself and it is just the right size. Most of the rest of this kit would be in any "handy" persons current tool collection.Given that not everyone is handy and I ordered it out of sheer laziness, if this kit included 2-3 more threaded bolts, at least one more nut, and an instruction 1-pager I would give it 5 stars. A QR code to a preferred YouTube video would receive extra credit.

Read the Reviews- They Are Accurate
Well, I didn't really pay attention to all the reviews before I lost my head and purchased this kit. Frankly, I was taken in by the price as I was told that a "good" kit will cost about $300, so I figured Amazon was giving me a deal. Well, not so much. The best thing I can say about this kit is it gives me an idea of what I need to buy to build my own. I will head to my local hardware store and build this kit with quality hardware/tools.I have about 12 anchors that need to be replaced, so I started and the drill bit sailed through the first one- off to a nice start. I like the washer and tube that goes over the old anchor, they seem to be up to the task and the tap worked well, so I was pretty excited. However, as I read in so many reviews- the threaded bolt snapped on the FIRST anchor!Knowing I had to head to the hardware store at some point to get a carriage bolt or threaded bolt that will last, I decided to drill and tap the other anchors. The drill bit lasted 3 and a half anchors and became very dull. Project over for now, will go to the hardware store next weekend and complete the job.My advice to all of you is to read the description of the product very carefully, then go and buy all the parts that are in the kit and you'll have better luck. At the very least, I advise you to read the reviews carefully and lower your expectations. I wish you luck, fellow Amazon shoppers and pool owners.

This product is the most amazing invention since the transistor!
I had 3 people including 2 pool companies that kept telling me they would remove the stripped/jammed brass pool anchors for over 3 years. Nobody came through. I did a lot of research and bought this POOLZILLA product and it was an engineering marvel. Incredible design and amazing results.

If your anchors are REALLY stuck, this won’t work for you.
I bought the Poolzilla Anchor Removal Tool to remove 2 anchors that wouldn’t move by other means. The materials of the poolzilla Anchor Removal Tool aren’t high enough quality to remove an anchor that is stuck enough to buy this set. I was able to eventually remove 1 anchor but using the bit to drill out the brass and get a larger Allen wrench in. The other anchor u was able to Remove the portion of the anchor above the deck with a vice and drill out the sharp portion remaining.
