PhotoSEL 1.5mx2m Reversible Collapsible Background Screen - Green/Blue Chroma Key

I wanted to buy my partner a simple backdrop as he makes guitar tuition videos. I searched through many products, which ranged from poor quality muslin which creased very easily and therefore required constant ironing, to extortionately expensive professional backdrops, some of which required a full frame. I was delighted to find this product, which folds down into a circle carry case.When taken out of the case, the product pops open. It is large and has no creases. It was perfect for what my partner required as he can simply rest it against the wall and sit in front of it. Bear in mind, that if you wanted to film from a distance, this background would not be large enough, but for close up work and people sitting, this is ideal. The reversible colour is great - both deep, solid colours, and it's a bonus that it's Chroma Key, so my partner can now choose whatever background he likes.The only drawback is how difficult this is to collapse! We watched various videos on how to collapse this, before finally getting it right. However, the next time we came to do it, it was just as hard! It definitely takes a little bit of skill and know-how, but this doesn't detract from the quality of the product.

It turns out all the time, impossible to keep it flat.

This is a very useful piece of equipment for any serious photographer who requires a chroma background. Being reversible is an added bonus. It packs away into it's pouch (after a bit of patient practice) and is therefore useful when photographing in different locations.

Delivery was great, the product has good packaging and the folded size is relatively small - it was heavier than I imagined, and a lot larger as well! Only issue was the folding back to its original size, I guess it might get easier once I've used it more - but I wish it had some instructions, or generally not be so difficult to pack away! It took me over an hour with online tutorials! Either way, very good product and works well!

The quality is fine

Nice compact foldable background but suffers terribly from wrinkles throughout the surface which really show up when filming in HD. Very disappointed

It arrived well packaged and in a zipper bag for carrying. It unfolds really easily and the expected creasing vanishes after a day of being kept open. I have used it and the chroma key results were excellent. I have not tried to fold it up again so cannot comment on how difficult that is. Other commentators have suggested that you may need to watch a youtube video, I cannot comment on this as I have not tried to fold it up yet.

very useful to have reversable backgrounds in case your subjects come wearing the wrong colour t shirt.its very portable. it takes a while to gget used to packing it away, it came with no instructions, so i looked on youtubeand found an instruction video.

Muy adecuado para un uso personal y no profesional pero con calidad, ya que es robusto, estable, suficientemente grande y opaco como para no tener problemas técnicos y a la vez, al ser plegable, se guarda y almacena con gran facilidad en casa. muy recomendable.

Once you figure out how to get this thing back in its container (watch the youtube videos), you'll take it everywhere. Wonderfully portable and does the job very well. I use it with the ipad app Green Screen by Do Ink

This green / blue screen background is very good. A lot of people mistakenly believe the colour is supposed to be very bright green. Wrong. It's actually supposed to be the colour seen on these back grounds. It's when you fill the background with the right kind of light (5500 K), the screen looks bright green, or blue, especially when seen on the camera's viewfinder, or in post production editing, as long as the lighting is evenly distributed, and done so with soft boxes pointed into the background from 45 degree angles, and a few feet in front of the background, not from extreme angles out to the sides. That way, minor wrinkles, and creases will actually not be as pronounced.The only reason I gave 4 stars, is I think I got the one another reviewer returned, which warped when placed on a lighting / background stand.No big deal, fortunately, I know a workaround for this contingency. Simply use a DJ lighting T-bar stand. You'll want to attach a video lighting stud to the horizontal bar of the T-bar, with the stud pointing toward the wall, and slightly toward the floor. This is going to make it so the background's metal rim will be raised enough to be in contact with the T-Bar along enough of the rim to stop the warping, as long as the bottom edge of the rim is touching two of the stand's legs, as long as the third leg is pointing toward the wall, behind the background. Once that's done, you should be abled to stand next to the background, and look across it, and not see any, or at least very little warping of the rim.Hanging the background on a wall, or leaning it against a wall, with a sandbag on the floor, touching the bottom edge of the rim should work to prevent the warping, too.I'm glad I read the reviews on this, and other offerings, carefully. This one is actually made of cotton muslin, which does not reflect lighting.It's important to use a small hand steamer to take out the deepest of the wrinkles, and creases, which will occur if the background has been stowed in it's bag for long periods of time, especially if other gear has been laying on top of it, too.Don't get too close with the steamer, and don't hover over any given spot too long, or you will cause the muslin to take on a sheen. The same applies to ironing muslin. There are tons of good videos on YouTube which show how to steam, and iron cotton muslin backgrounds. Watch them. It's important, because EVERY background will have wrinkles, and creases when you pop them open. It's a good idea to pop a background open a full day, or night prior to a shoot, to allow some of the wrinkles to fall out. A few hours prior to shoot, you'll want to use the steamer for the rest, but only if the wrinkles are deep enough to be picked up on camera, even if the right lighting modification, and placement is deployed on set.Re-folding, and packing the background is a bit tricky, but there are videos which show how to fold a collapsible background. Some of them are extremely funny, too. :)

Ya tenemos otro fondo de este fabricante, aunque sólo de un color, para nuestro canal de YouTube y estamos obteniendo buenos resultados. Me parece una buena marca. Recomendable.
