I bought this necklace not expecting such a fine piece of jewelry. What I received is a beautifully crafted charm on a lightweight, but solidly constructed, chain that glitters in the light. The overall piece is light, but not flimsy. I have taken quite a few showers in this necklace, and the metal has not turned green, as some sterling pieces do. For those people that honor Bastet, this is a wonderful piece to have!

I absolutely love the design of this necklace. I have two black cats, so I'm a huge fan of anything featuring them or the goddess Bastet. It's a lovely, delicate piece, with an equally delicate short chain. The clasp operated smoothly. A simply beautiful necklace I'd recommend for any admirer of cats or Bastet. I did see a review where the color wore off in a week, so I will do my best to remember to update my review if the same travesty befalls my necklace.

I am a HUGE lover of ancient mythology...especially ancient Egypt! This necklace is absolutely STUNNING!!!! My daughter wore this for about three months. After six weeks, the jewel fell off. Now the back has fallen off. All she’s done is wear it to school - no swimming, sports etc. It is just too poorly made.
