Love this little scale. It fits perfectly on my Bambino, and has a silent mode! 🔕
I picked this over others due to a nicer interface design, thinner profile, and a silent mode with no beeps when pressing buttons. When it arrived and unboxed, it looks and feels well made, and a 100g test weight shows it came perfectly calibrated out of the box. The scale is also very responsive--Much faster than the one it replaced. I was a bit worried the silent mode would reset after being powered down, but thankfully it stays silent. (The beep is actually not too bad when enabled, but is a bit louder than necessary. Certainly not ear piercing like another scale I have.)The display is the perfect brightness, and I like the clean design and size of the readout. I was a little worried it would be a bit too dark due to the product photos, but it's nice and clear. (Some review photos show it having an odd blue tint, but it is in fact pure white, as I hoped.) Love having the timer as well, and much easier to watch the time and weight close together. I've only briefly played with the auto-timer modes, but it's very easy to switch modes. Unlike another scale I was considering around this price point, the timer and tare buttons are on the correct sides next to their respective readouts (who would have thought!)The USB-C charge port is in a good location, not on the rear like some others, so it can be used while charging without having to put the scale sideways. The dimensions are also perfect for my Breville Bambino Plus. Not only does it fit perfectly on the drip tray, but the thinness gives me clearance for a large JoyJolt 13.5oz coffee mug I use for Americanos, without having to use a shot glass and then transfer the shot. It's even thin enough with the silicone pad!One Month Update: Still working great, and a full charge lasted 33 days of daily use. Typically on for about 15-20 minutes a day.

Nice scale for espresso prep
Precise. Sensitive to one bean. Fits under brew group with enough clearance to accommodate an espresso cup. Shot timer works. Battery takes recharge fairly quickly. Battery holds charge for more than a week even with daily use.

Non-Standard USB-C connector
UPDATE:The seller contacted me and after some discussion, it was determined that the scale I originally received was defective. The provided cable is indeed non-standard and too deep as in the original review. However, the female side in the scale should be standard depth. This means the cable should NOT insert flush with the scale and you should be able to see a sliver of the plug. The seller was gracious to send 2 more scales (first was lost by the deliver service). The new one fit as designed. However there still appears to be an issue. If you use a USB-A to USB-C cable, it charges. A USB-C to USB-C (including Lightning) cables do not. Also, the scale comes with instructions for turning the beeps off. I did notice that the timer still beeps every 1 minute even with the beeps turned off. Not a big issue.Otherwise still a good scale. Compact and consistent. Customer service from the seller has been good.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Overall the scale works fine. Appears to measure and time precisely. Accuracy is untested. Two issues, though.1. Minor. The power button is a tad bit sensitive when you don’t want it to be. It’ll turn on while you put it away if you brush it with your finger or towel.2. The USB-C cable is a non-standard depth. Instead of being 6.65mm deep, it’s 8mm deep. The charging port on the side is designed for a 8mm deep plug. So if you try to charge using a standard cable, like an Apple or Anker USB-C cable, it will not charge because it will not seat deep enough. See the attached pictures. Other end of the included cable is USB-A, so you’ll need to ensure you have a matching charge port to plug into. Don’t lose the cable.

Great for starting out
I make at least two coffees a day using a Gaggia Classic Pro Evo and this is a great beginner coffee scale. Most coffee scales for weighing espresso that are decent are $80+ and to get something that is fairly accurate and also has a timer is great. It has a thin profile which helps it fit under group heads without a ton of space. With the press of one button, you can start the timer and measure espresso output. This is extremely easy to use and a great value. The only thing that I don't like is that it does occasionally display weight on the scale when I have put nothing on it. I just tare it and continue. If having values +- .2g of what it actually is don't buy this. For my purposes, it is fine. Also, I have had this for a month, make coffee using it twice a day and have yet to have to charge it.

Looks great, but only moderately accurate
I love the size and clean look of this scale. I can easily fit it on my espresso machine to weight my ratios and it’s especially helpful because it has the timer feature built in too.My main frustration with this scale is its accuracy. The numbers jump, and after I’ve tared the scale, it will go from 0.00 to some random + or - number, causing me to tare it again and wait until it settles and stays at 0.00.It also has an annoying feature where it will turn itself off mid pull if a spray of espresso hits the power button.I’ll keep it despite all this for the clean lines and size of the scale.

Good quality for money
Great value for coffee scale, easy to operate and has timer. Chargeable but battery seems to last a long time

Did not last long
I bought this scale in May 2023. it worked great initially, then, after a few months, the weight display started to wobble a little bit when the scale was zeroed with the „tare“ button, not a big deal I thought, but then the scale returned more and more the „unstable surface“ message when switched on and did not go into weight mode, although I located it always on a completely flat and stable counter surface. Now, after 18 months, it only returns the unstable surface message. I tried to reset it etc, to no avail. Guess it’s broken now after about 18 months of gentle service. You should expect a longer useful life for such a device, hence my one star rating.

Great little scale
Solid little scale for espresso. A little large for my Bambino Plus, but still works fine.I was worried the rechargeable battery would be cheap and need constant charging, but I use this scale 2 or 4 times daily and it only needs recharging once every 6 weeks or so. Quite pleased. The auto mode is nice for running the timer once the first drop lands. Switching modes is quite easy and quick. My only nitpick would be the beeps are so freaking loud, it's irritating. I had to put it in mute mode. I would prefer some audible sound, but man, it's too loud.Highly recommend

Perfect once I fixed the loud beeps
I bought this little scale to use in our RV and it’s working good. The accuracy matches our Oxo scale at home and the rechargeable battery seems to last at least a week as we are still on the first charge. I fixed the loud beeps by putting a piece of electrical tape on the buzzer. There are two screws under the scale behind the sticker in the middle. Just pierce the sticker with a small phillips screwdriver. You can then remove the pcb screws and lift the board to access the buzzer. Just be careful because the battery cannot be disconnected. Once the buzzer was fixed, the scale is just what we needed.
