I really like this kettle! I keep it in my car for travel since I already have two other kettles for inside the home. This kettle is small enough to travel with and pack into a suitcase, but it's large enough to use for a couple of cups of tea or coffee. I like the color, and although I'm not a fan of the plastic on the exterior, it does make it lighter and doesn't conduct heat so that it can be packed away quickly. The ones with metal exterior have to wait to cool before they can be packed, so this is moreso a benefit. All of the interior that touches hot water is stainless steel, which is important to me. It functions great. I would like there to be a notification beep that's able to be turned on an off, but this is still a great value for what you get. As long as you're in the room with it, you'll hear it click off when it's ready. Very pleased!

I purchased this kettle for use in my office, as well as for taking on road trips/traveling. I tested it out a few times at home and it is excellent. It is small. It will make exactly one large mug of hot water. Which is perfect, because I’m usually just making a cup of tea for myself or a mug of oatmeal for myself. It seem to heat quickly, although I wasn’t timing it. I love that the top comes all the way off and it’s not on a hinge, making it easy to get my hand in the kettle and clean things. I also love that the top is easy to remove, as I have arthritis and sometimes struggle with things like that. Probably the best feature of this kettle is if you flip the base upside down it has little arrows, telling you to twist, and when you twist it retracts the cord into the base. So, you don’t have to worry about folding up the excess cord, or trying to wind it under the base when you sit on a surface. I love this little kettle, the color is great, and I’m looking forward to lots of use!

I love a proper cuppa of Bigelow's English Breakfast Tea, sweetened with Sweetleaf Stevia, in the AM and a cup of Stash's Moroccan Mint in the afternoon. I have each tea and sweetener in individual bags; however, have always been reliant on the in-room coffee machine or the lobby coffee bar.On my last business trip, I stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn in DC for 3 nights and, not once, was I able to find or make hot water.I just ordered this little kettle, and I am very happy with my purchase. It's a lovely green, heats super quickly, and is the perfect size to stash in luggage. After cleaning it, I tried heating water, and I filled it to the bottom of the spout. It heated up in about 2 minutes and a full pour filled my double-mug up to the brim -- so, 2 regular size cups.Very pleased with this product and recommend for other frequent businesses travelers that crave just a little touch of normalcy with their daily cuppa.

Nice small compact. Power cord could be longer.

Update: four months after purchasing it, it has started to rust. I had to purchase a new one.I bought this to use at work. But when I recieved it I realized that it was a tad smaller than I originally thought. I ended up taking it back to home. I prefer to drink out of mugs versus cups and this kettle easily fills up the standard size mug. It boils quickly. Sometimes I cut it off before it alarms so it's not so hot.

I love this mini kettle! It boils water faster than I expected it. Great size to travel with & easy to store when not in use.Update 1/9/24: this kettle stopped working last night. I'm dissappointed that it only lasted approx 13 months, however for the price paid I can't really complain. I used it at least once daily since I got it so I feel like I at least got my money's worth. At this time I am exploring other options but if I don't find a suitable replacement (similar size & price) I will be back to purchase another one.

The kettle began to leak a bit after several days of using.Also has a strange plastic smell inside, even though its stainless steel.Will ask for a refund.

I like to have hot tea while traveling. Great size for packing in suitcase. It boils water really quickly .
