Olde Thompson Saigon Cinnamon Sticks, 4.3 Ounce

The taste is so awesome. My family loves it (used to make French Toast). I have been using this brand for years.

For years, I have been doubling the amount of cinnamon in recipes calling for "Vietnamese Cinnamon". Thought I would try using the actual ingredient.It is different and not just more intense (which it is). Good stuff!

Smells way better and has a much stronger garlic flavor than the stuff you get in the supermarket. But I wouldn't call this "granulated". It's more of a "powder" than it is granulated. It's super fine and that is the only bad thing about it. Was hoping for more of a granual texture.

Had a good strong aroma/flavor, I would buy this again.

I make my own potpourris, as well as bake a lot. This cinnamon knocked my socks off! The smell is heavenly, so sharply cinnamonly, with undertones of sweetness, just hands down the best cinnamon I have ever smelled. I tasted just a smidgen and the taste was the same as the smell. I would most definitely buy this again!

Granulated garlic is not the same as garlic powder - it mixes into whatever I'm sauteeing, and rubs into the surface of an oven roast without clumping. The flavor of this brand is very garlic-y. I still use fresh garlic, of course. But sometimes I've forgotten it until too late, or I'm just too lazy. I especially recommend this for roast beef.
