I bought the McVitie’s Penguin Mint Biscuit Bars (7 pack), and they’ve quickly become one of those snacks I keep going back to. I’ve always liked Penguin bars, but the mint version adds that extra freshness that makes them even better. The combination of crunchy biscuit, chocolate coating, and mint cream filling works really well together. The mint isn’t too strong — it’s just enough to give a fresh taste without overpowering the chocolate, which I really like. Each bar has that satisfying crunch you expect, and it feels like a proper treat rather than just a quick snack. I also like that they’re individually wrapped, which makes them easy to grab on the go or throw into a lunchbox. It helps with portion control too… although I’ll be honest, it’s easy to go back for a second one. They’ve been great with a cup of tea or just as a quick snack during the day. It’s one of those familiar, reliable treats that just hits the spot every time. For me, they’re a perfect mix of chocolate and mint with that classic Penguin crunch, and I’ll definitely keep buying them.

Great tasting alternative to the original penguin. If you like mint chocolate then you'll love these. Just the right strength of mint without it being overbearing. Taste lovely dunked in tea. Good shelf life too.
