Exactly as advertised, can install with normal tools and some specialty fasteners
These worked great for installing brackets for an LED light bar to my truck's windshield frame. I used an M8 class 10 bolt, M8 class 10 nut, M8 washer and M9 nut as a spacer, and 3 combination wrenches to install the inserts. Having 3 hands helps a lot. I broke/stripped 2 weaker bolts attempting to install these nutserts because they are quite strong. I bought the fasteners from Fastenal because Lowes, Home Depot and McLendon did not have strong enough bolts and nuts.These, like all nutserts I've seen, do not always compress exactly axially to the exact center of the body. Plan for this in your project.
