I am glad I put aside my reservations about making this purchase.I was afraid the biothane would be slippery and difficult to hold onto. Instead, I have a solid grip and do not need to worry about losing control when my 80lb boxer pulls unexpectedly (we're working on that :-))I was using a carabiner to connect to a backup collar. It was heavy, and I was constantly stopping to untwist and realign everything. The extra lead on this leash is long enough to not interfere with corrections made on the primary collar and it does not twist. Our walks are now much more enjoyable for both of us.Even if I was not using a training collar, I would still use this leash with the added peace of mind of having a backup.I knew Leerburg makes high-quality products through a previous purchase and by watching their online videos...still this leash and craftsmanship far exceeded my expectations.

Very well made, heavy duty stitching. With the combination of pinch collar and regular collar, I feel like I have good control of this kind of rowdy dog. Slight misgivings about how slim and slick the leash body is. Wish it were a little rougher in the hand and a little wider. My dog will go from docilely walking beside me to trying to attack a car in a split second. Wish I had a beefier grip.

I use this leash as a back up to my dog's walking harness, by hooking the short end to the harness and the long end to my dog's regular collar, making the collar the back up in case the harness fails or either of the leash connectors fail.

The Bio Thane is super strong and this is a high-quality leash. It's made the training sessions with my GSD more secure and less stressful as I can have the prong collar and a dominant dog collar on at the same time, increasing reliability and eliminating the need to switch back and forth.

This is a great leash if you are using a prong collar system. This is actually the 2nd one I have bought. The first one is a leather hand crafted from Leerburg. It has lasted over 8 years with no issues. I have a 100lbs. German Shepard and before I had the prong collar leash, my Shepard would pull and was hard to control. Once I was able to use the prong collar with this prong collar leash I was able to control my Shepard. Also I have witnessed first hand how a prong collar can fail and with this leash, you don't have to worry about that as the leash is still connected to a secondary collar. Great product.

The material is too plastic-y feeling to hold comfortably on a normal walk. But otherwise it's a nice enough prong-lead. Good for working in wet conditions.

This leash is very well made! We bought it after trying a couple different leashes. This leash is comfortable for the hand and light weight.
