Awsome phone
Feels Premium Right out of the box, you can tell this phone is built like a tank. The glass and metal feel sleek, solid, and high-end in your hand. Awesome Screen and Speed The display is huge, bright, and super sharp. Everything loads instantly, apps never lag, and playing games on it is super smooth. The Cameras Are Insane The photos come out crisp every single time, even at night. The zoom is the real party trick though—you can take clear pictures of things impossibly far away. Battery Lasts All Day I easily get through a full day of heavy streaming, photos, and browsing without stressing about finding a charger before bedtime.

Phone is awesome, but mine was network locked to AT&T. Read review in full!
It is almost identical to my last phone, the S22. I dropped the s22 and went ahead and bought this S23 Ultra. They replaced the screen on the S22 in 4 hours and it is excellent renewed. Instead of returning this s23 ultra I decided to keep it. This S23 Galaxy ultra should last many years. One issue I encountered was that the phone was locked to AT&T unlike what was advertised. I chose to use Unlockme mobile to unlock. Not recommended. It took 5 days and instead of charging me the initial 24 dollars that I paid at the beginning, at the very end they charged me $96.00 for the unlock code. A big scam. I found out that in my call to AT&T that they no longer give unlock codes and recommend to me to use Unlockme. I should have just returned the phone to Amazon. I didn't because I am confined to a nursing home and could not drop phone off at an Amazon drop off location. If phone is locked save $120 and just return it.

The Biggest Waste of Money I've ever had the Displeasure of Owning
I want to be clear about something before I get into the details: I am not a difficult customer. I do not leave reviews like this lightly. But what I received from this seller was not a refurbished phone, that implies the phone actually works. From the moment I attempted to set this phone up, it was restarting. During initial configuration. During data transfer. During update attempts. Every single time I tried to install an available update the phone threw the same useless error message at me and gave up. A device that cannot update itself out of the box is not a functioning device. What I eventually discovered was that this phone shipped with firmware from September 2025, five updates behind current at the time of purchase. Five. It's likely someone wiped and put it back in a box. In order to get this device to a functional state I was forced to manually flash the firmware myself using Samsung Smart Switch on my PC. This took multiple attempts over several hours. One failed flash left the phone stuck on a cyan error screen. I had to force restart it into recovery mode just to get the home screen back. I did all of this just to reach the baseline a refurbished phone should have shipped at. After weeks of normal use following all of that, the phone is still randomly restarting. Sometimes once a day, sometimes every twenty seconds. Apps open and immediately crash. The behavior is inconsistent and unpredictable. I have been a Samsung user for years. I have never had a device that required this level of intervention just to function, let alone one that still failed after all of it. Save your money. Save your time. Save yourself the particular misery of spending an afternoon in recovery mode on a phone you bought two days ago.

Solid great phone so far...
Phone showed up in great condition with only a couple scuffs on the frame that are barely noticeable. Battery life seems solid so far have an app testing it but hasn't cycled enough to tell me what percentage it's at. Screen is in great shape no scratches and seems gem or decent quality replacement anyway. It is a Canadian model but as far as I can tell that has no effect on anything. Took many hours of updating os then the security updates from 2023 til now that was tedious waitng for one at a time to download and install. Will update if anything changes.

Worth every penny --But please read to avoid any issues
I waited about a week before posting to get a feel for the device and ensure everything works well. Before the full review I want to note that I posted an unboxing video. The phone arrived in bubble wrap with a generic 10 watt charger included. Do not use that charger — plan to purchase a minimum 45 watt charger and a high quality cord. Using the included charger may cause battery overheating, slow charging, and long term battery damage. Another concern was that when I plugged the phone in for its initial full charge, I received a water detection warning. I tested three of my S22 Ultra cables that have never had issues and got the same warning each time. I used a small cool fan briefly, stood the phone upright. Just be cautious and double check your charging port before use. The water detection warning has not returned once since that first day — the fix worked completely. The phone also did not come with a SIM card removal tool. If you don't have one, the back of an earring works surprisingly well as a backup — that's always been my go-to. Luckily I had my own tool for the SIM swap. (These are the reasons I couldn't give 5 stars. Had I not caught these issues — especially the charger — I would likely have been frustrated enough for 1 or 2 stars.) That said, this phone is amazing. I'm coming from the S22 Ultra so the UI was immediately familiar, with many similar features and an easy transition. The biggest improvement is the processor — App installation, gaming without lag, browsing, music from the internal speakers, all noticeably better across the board. Most notably for my usual activities, game downloads that took 2+ minutes on my S22 Ultra now complete in approximately 10 seconds on the S23 Ultra. The difference is genuinely dramatic. I transferred approximately 128GB of apps and data wirelessly from my S22 Ultra in about 40 minutes. A USB-C to C cable would have been faster, but after the water detection warning I didn't want to use a cord for that step. The 40 minutes was likely influenced by the transfer speed of the older S22 Ultra as the source device. After the transfer, everything was loaded exactly as it was on my previous phone — it connected to my WiFi without entering a password, and my Samsung biometrics remembered passwords for each app, making it seamless to use immediately. The battery does not overheat the way the S22 Ultra is well known to do, which was a major concern of mine going in. The condition was as described. There were two very small micro cracks near the edge, but after applying a screen protector they are completely invisible. If they ever become visible I'll simply use a liquid glass repair solution. After extensive research I'm not concerned about the screen integrity. The camera is phenomenal. I was always impressed with the S22 Ultra camera, but the increased resolution makes every shot noticeably more vivid. Photos look almost better than real life, with no extra steps needed — just point and shoot. The 512GB storage is more than I'll likely ever need, even with a heavy volume of photos, videos and apps. I don't see myself coming close to capacity. I spent considerable time deciding between the S23 and S24 Ultra. After thorough research the benefits of paying several hundred dollars more for a marginally better camera and minor improvements weren't justified. This phone represents an incredible upgrade at a very reasonable price. Edit: After using for about a month i wanted to note that the battery lasts for an extreme long time, the photos are absolutely incredible, the processing speed... is unmatched, I used to lag, or have apps crash, now everything is seemeless. This is just an amazing phone!

This can't be refurbished⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wow, I'm seriously impressed with how perfect the quality of this refurbished phone is. It's pristine, not a scratch anywhere! If you're hesitant about buying refurbished phones, don't be. I've bought several, and they've always been in great condition. And on the rare occasion they're not, you can always send them back, guaranteed through Amazon. So yeah, I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Phone arrived locked, seller only offered a return/replace but carrier fixed it
This was a miserable experience. I never bought a renewed phone before. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy 23 Ultra and the seller was Chubbies Tech I severely cracked the screen on my older phone and the screen replacement was pretty expensive. This slightly newer model offered a significant upgrade ( I had an S22 Ultra and the S23 Ultra was a big jump in improvements) So instead of sinking money into the screen, I could get a newer model and more memory than I had before. I was upgrading from 256GB to 512GB so this seemed like a great deal. Because the phone is older, it took hours to download what felt like a million updates and get the phone up to date. Then doing Samsung Smart Switch took a while too. So I had hours into this before I even tried to activate it with Xfinity Mobile. When I did finally get to that part, I entered the IMEI number Xfinity Mobile said "Your phone is compatible but may be locked to another carrier". At that point I was crushed, I already was behind and needed a working phone. I immediately messaged the seller through Amazon to find out what could be going on. They replied a few hours later only to say they were sorry and offer a refund or replacement. So now I would be looking at more days without a working phone . I would have to spend hours wiping the phone data, mailing it back and then more hours to install updates and switch everything again on a new device. I really didn't want to send it back if there was any way for it to work. After reading more on Xfinity's site I saw this "Some carriers will automatically unlock their customers' phones after a period of time. Some carriers will only unlock your phone if you ask them to." and there are unlock services out there as well. The unlock services do not seem to be doing anything any different than your carrier can do so I decided to call Xfinity Mobile and see if they could help. But I also have to wonder why these mobile phone resellers do not just truly unlock the phones with a service since this is their business. They seem fine to put the burden on whoever buys it to figure it out. Xfinity Mobile was able to successfully get the phone active after about an hour on the phone with them. So I am really glad I didn't just send it back. Who is to say the replacement would not be the same thing all over again? This was an education in renewed phones but if this was my business I would offer this guidance right away in a troubleshooting section or email before I would have someone send back a "locked" phone. My time is valuable so all this messing around with the phone still costs me. It took time away from work and caused stress. This does take away from the value of the renewed phone being cheaper than a brand new one. Overall though the device itself was mostly as expected. The color is nice. The screen was in good shape with no scratches. It had a plastic sticker cover on it. The only minor scratches I saw were around the camera lenses on the back and around the edge of the lens. (not like the listing says - no scratches from 12 inches away as per the "excellent" description) Not a deal breaker though either as the camera appears to work fine. See my photo. The battery arrived not charged and at about 12% which was not that big of a deal. It charged fast and has held a charge. So as far as the device itself goes, it is a good device and matches the listing. The reason for the 3 stars is that as I mentioned earlier, this was not a good deal considering all the extra time and energy it took to get it working and I almost sent it back too because of the response from the seller! That would have been way worse.

Unlocked, and came in Perfect condition. Curved display might be an issue for some people.
Phone came in perfect condition, everything works as it should. The phone I received is real. I popped in my sim and it did work perfectly. I checked the hardware specs using an app called Devcheck I used a site called gsmarena (Look at photos to see link, when on the site in the search bar search up the phone name, I am not affiliated with this site just a tool I use to ensure I get what I pay for, they make reviews and stuff on phones) to see the phone specs as reported by them. There were some review claiming that the phone was bricked because the device was reported swollen or parts from other phones were installed on the device. That did not happen with me. Why is the device cheaper? I looked at all the specs of the device and in my opinion on the phone I received, I think the battery was replaced, the original battery is supposed to be 5000mah , the one that is in the phone as reported by the software is 4855mah. The phone does get warm when charging (I have an Anker Ace 45W charger with a Ugreen braided Usb c cable rated to 100w). Overall good phone but the only problem is the curved display it looks amazing and work well but it is very difficult to find good tempered glass screen protectors for them, also since the display is curved it takes away from the sides of the phone which can make gripping it more difficult also dropping it may be more scary due to the curved display. Overall the Phone is amazing looks great and is and is an absolute beast you get Samsungs amazing android skin and fantastic camera's but if you want to keep the phone looking new you have to get a good case (The one I have is the Sprigen Tough Armour a Medium between a regular case and an Otterbox), and it is difficult to find a good tempered glass screen protector. Conclusion: I always have a case and tempered glass screen protectors on my phone, and since the curved display makes finding a glass screen protector more difficult it makes me hesitant to recommend this phone for myself because I will drop the phone I'm not clumsy just happens sometimes. I do not want to have to worry about cracking the display. If you are not like me and do not care about the screen protectors then you must get a good case to protect the phone. Overall It's a solid phone the only caveat is the curved display. 8.5/10

Gran compra 🔥
