dead sharp, accurate quality cutter - perfect for cutting a rabbet to fit guitar/ukulele binding
I needed a top-notch cutter in a table mounted application to trim accurate rebates all around the edges of the body on my home build ukulele project, ready to take the wooden binding strips that protect the edges and give a nice decorative touch. The same technique applies to binding on acoustic guitars. The bottom and side cut combined were of interest as I new this would mean there was less risk of damage. As the top is made of spruce which is very soft and tears easily, it's crucial the cutter is sharp, especially as parts of the cut will be going "against" the grain if you follow me. I've heard sad stories of people getting this far in the build only to have the instrument damaged at this step... After much trepidation and careful set up, this cutter made light work of the task in hand and cut perfect edges all the way round - using a climb cut technique to go with the rotation of the cutter on the bits where the grain was oriented in such a way as to risk tear out, and then a conventional cut against the rotation on the rest of it. Zero problems whatsoever. Just the right tool for the job, and worth every penny.

Unusual router bit from UK company: makes 1/4 1/4 1/4 joints easy with 12mm plywood
The 'quarter/quarter/ quarter joint ( see my drawing) is a fast way of making a box out of plywood: recommended in many US YouTube videos. However, in UK and other european countries plywood 1/2 inch thick is rarely obtainable. If you want to use the commoner 12mm thick ply, you can use a 1/4 inch straight router bit, but the distance S has to be 5.65mm, which makes it difficult to set the distance of the bit from the fence. This item, from a UK manufacturer, allows all the dimensions in the drawing to be cut to 6mm, but the tool fits all the US-made routers ( 1/4'' shank) .

Quality bit of kit
I'm a router novice and wanted to put some grooves in and old set of drawers for drawer runners. The first thing I found using this bit was how much quieter and quicker it was compared to the bits that came with my Bosch 1200 router. The only effort needed was to keep the router running straight with the guide and let the bit do the work. Very happy with the crisp clean and consistent cut it's produced on all five drawers and it shows that paying a bit more for quality tools works out cheaper in the long run.

Excellent, sharp, well designed router bit
This is one of the best router bits I have bought. Beautifully engineered, strong shoulders on the shank, and very sharp. With 2 flutes instead of just 1, it cuts very easily without vibration and no irregularities to ter the wood. I have found it excellent with both hard woods and pine. All round, an excellent bit.

Class
Used for making MFT top & itโs deadly accurate. All dogs fit really well just like the original ones did. Made 4 tops now for family & still going strong. Has cut over 400 plunges in 18mm MDF

Better quality.
This is a replacement router bit from another supplier. Seems to be a much better quality product.

Bought to bore MFT holes. Worked perfectly.
Bored mft holes nicely. Also used for some machining of grooves. Cleans up nicely between uses and still sharp after few hrs of use. Bench dogs fit nicely. Haven't made exact measurements of holes and dogs yet. Small gripe but wish it came in better packaging like CMT bits do...
