Great for outdoor movie night! Loud!
This thing is loud. We use it on outdoor movie nights on a large property with a 20ft screen. I could hear it from well over 100ft away and it was only at like 50%. Dialog is crisp like in a movie theater. It is large and heavy, good thing it has rugged wheels and hefty handle. Battery probably lasts for like 12hrs or so. Also has port to charge other usb devices.

Loud and Clear/ Battery Lasts Forever!
UPDATE: People complain about the speaker not having adjustable treble/bass features. However, if you are streaming music from a smart phone via Bluetooth, most phones have these features. For instance, the louder I play the speaker, I reduce the bass from my iPhone settings, per the picture. Problem solved in the type of scenario.I bought the Ion Raptor about 1.5 months ago, and I use it primarily while playing outdoor sand volleyball. I’ve used it about 7 times for about 4 hours during each use, and the battery barely lost 1 bar (4 bars total capacity). The battery really does last such a long time! Furthermore, for each use, the volume on the Raptor was set at about 75%, which was perfect for an outdoor setting.***I would advise that if the operator is using this speaker by pairing with a mobile phone, do not set the volume all the way to Max on your phone. Otherwise you’ll hear a little distortion in sound as you bring up the volume on the speaker itself. I limit my phone volume to about 80%, and adjust the rest of the volume in the Ion Raptor. ***

Not as loud as I wanted
OK, pro's: Super durable - built like a tank for heavy use, great side handles to help move this beast around, cup holders are tacky and I ended up using them more than I expected (as cupholders and also as a place to put my phone where it wouldn't move due to vibration).Con: The battery life is not 75hrs at a decent volume and I didn't find the unit was as loud as I needed. The battery life I could deal with as I rarely used it away from a power source at some point in the day but I really did need more volume and ended up returning the speaker. That being said, there is not much to fault this speaker for a rough-and-tumble unit/car-camping/workplace speaker. If it had been louder I would have definitely kept this unit.

OUT IN THE ELEMENTS!!
We strap this speaker to back of our four wheelers every weekend and go to our local mud bogg. Stays charged all weekend and that’s using day and night. Never had an issue with it being exposed to rain, mud and sun. I never miss any calls cause it sounds through the speaker. Highly recommend this to anyone who plans on using this outside in the elements. Side note: if playing it at max set your phone on bass reducer, you still get high quality sound and very LOUD!!!

Sound is great battery doesn't hold up long
I love the speaker and the sound quality but I thought the battery would hold up longer than a year. We have had the speaker for about a year and it will not stay charged for very long even though it's been charging for at least 6 hours or longer.

Lacking punch and now faulty
I bought this because I had an ION several years back. This one is the same wattage as my old one, but nowhere near the deep bass.Mic isn't nearly as good as I thought and I have to crank up Mic volume to max to really even hear it.I average about 6 hours of use before I'm down to the last bar of battery charge.Bluetooth connects fast, but if I walk 6 feet away, the audio cuts in and out, and this is with the newest iphone.I'd really like a refund, but have the highest doubts Amazon or ION would even consider it.I just looked up and remembered it says "75 hour battery"Yeah, maybe if I full charge it and don't use it, it will hold a charge for 75 hours.Updating my review.I switch to Radio and even with properly saved presets, it jumps to static.Battery life is so bad now, I just won't take it anywhere because its dead weight.Just about have to have the Mic in your mouth and scream to hear anything at full mic volume.

Great Radio!
Awesome Radio! So far, I’ve used it at a few parties and it seems to do its job very well. The only thing i didn’t like so far is that the bluetooth connection doesn’t travel to far meaning if you’re connecting your phone to the radio to play music, you basically have to keep your phone within a 10’ radius for a clear connection. So I just leave my phone on the radio and ignore all phone calls coming in for the time being. (Probably better that way anyway) Other than that, love it.

The product delivered was the product ordered, but sorry to say the battery doesn't seem like it will last 75 hours, but can easily get a day or 2 between charges, has old style lead battery that must be charged often,My Ion speaker works great and I love it

Ford Performance, tuned down.
Well it is loud! While in the back yard I keep it at maybe 3 bars, as I don't want to piss of my neighbours. Rugged and heavy. FM radio works good. Bluetooth as well. You are def. paying a premium for the name. They have a similar one that's cheaper called the "block party" I think? Now the downside. No base. Has a fairly large speaker you can see and a medium sized on above it. I think for the size the could have made that a sub and still manage to fot a mid and a pair of tweeters. Sound does go loud on radio, louder it goes less bass and mid range. Bluetooth, same old story make sure your volume on source not cranked or it will sould like shit. I haven't been able to fully test the battery life yet. But on 3 seperate occasions running for 2 or 3 hours the guage has only dropped one bar. The mic portion. Don't bother. I could yell louder. Don't know maybe the mic is poor quality. To get a decent voice quality you practically sucking it off you gotta be so close to the mic. Oh the LED is a neat little feature. Barely noticeable in the sun though. All in all, would I buy it again. Yeah, cause I'm a ford nut and people go nuts when I tell them I'm coming over with my Raptor lol.
