Retinol 0.5% in Squalane, Intermediate Retinol Serum for the Face That Is Anti-Aging and Skin Smoothing, 30ml

I’ve been using this retinol for couple of weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. It’s very effective without being overly harsh, as long as you introduce it slowly into your routine. I'm applying the product every other night as it's my first time using retinol.After a few weeks of consistent use (just at night), I started noticing a real difference! My skin looks more radiant, smoother, and much more even in tone. The “glow” is definitely there, and some of my uneven patches have visibly improved.The formula feels slightly oily at first because of the squalane base, but it absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling nourished rather than dry. No irritation at all. I use cetaphil moisturiser after retinol which is super effective. I wake up in the morning and my skin feels like a baby.For the price, the quality is amazing. If you’re looking for a retinol that delivers visible results and gives your skin a healthy glow, I highly recommend this one. I’ll definitely continue repurchasing!

I can see why this is popular, having tried a cheaper retinol of in retrospect dubious quality, this one does feel like it makes a difference to skin tightness and evening out of skin tone.You don't need to apply much so it should last a while, is easy to apply with the dropper and is well packaged.I did notice some slight irritation around the eyes early on but this is a recognised side effect, particularly early on,but soon settled and hasn't come back since.Would recommend, and I'll continue using this for now!

Only just started using this, so no major , major changes, noted a good improvement on forehead and cheeks, happy so far, I think this was the right % for my skin. I look younger for my age anyway, leaves no residue or any dry skin, hasn't caused any outbreaks, happy with this product.

ok so maybe that's an exaggeration but i recently got into taking care of my skin at 64 as i was looking .... gulp ..... old! after a couple of months there are two things i can report back clearly ... 1) my skin IS looking better, younger and healthier and 2) i regularly have people saying i look really well.the two are definitely linked.best advice? be patient, build it up to around 3 maybe 4 times a week. let it do its thing.

This is the first time I've ever used retinol, it's been about 3 months since I bought this bottle and it's lasted this long! I started using it every other night for the first week then every night the following weeks. It took quite a while to get used to this retinol with it being my first time using and in hindsight I should of started on the 0.2% first, I had the occasional retinol burn In the crease along my neck where it had pooled through the night but it was a indication I had used too much. This retinol has a slightly oily feel but this is because of the squalene, it does however serve its purpose for the morning after my skin felt moisturised. All in all this is a great retinol, I would however use a lower strength 0.2% if its the first time using, then after a couple of months go to 0.5% then 1.0. I recommended this to my friends as already I have noticed a reduction in my age spots, fine lines, and my skin has a more youthful dewy complexion. It does take time, you won't see results straight away but stay with it and remember you'll get better results the stronger the retinol! But you need to get used to retinol in the first place and this retinol is a good place to start.

Package was open and bottle only filled down to 3 quarters. It feels too light on the skin for it to be actual retinolSadly I think its a dupe. Douglas sells this bottle for half the price!!!

I had a large milia on my cheek that I could not get rid of. They are also known as milk spots. They are white and they look like whiteheads but you cannot pop them. Very aggravating. I tried numerous things but nothing worked until I tried this amazing serum! Not only did it get rid of the milia within 2 weeks, but all of my skin has been glowing and radiant ever since I started using it. The smell is not overpowering, texture of the oil is light and smooth, and it's like giving your thirsty skin a nice, cool drink everyday. I've also noticed it has helped with the fine lines around my eyes and some of the deeper ones on my forehead. I'm currently using it on my neck and chest to try to improve those problem areas as well. I highly recommend this product!
