Space Cowboys Asmodee, Unlock! Mystery Adventures, Card Game, Ages 10+, 1-6 Players, 60 Minutes Playing Time

I have played the first Unlock! and enjoyed it so was really excited to get this version. Unlock is a card game that is played alongside an app. The cards can be combined to help you to escape from a 'locked room' and codes need to be discovered/broken and then the app used to move you on. We played them all as a family of 6, sometimes 6 is a little too big a number as not everyone gets a look in but it is helpful when you get stuck. The app can give hints if you get stuck and penalties if you make the wrong deductions taking away time which the app tracks. If you run of out time to escape the app starts counting up letting you finish the escape and giving you a rating. I really enjoy these games. The second submarine adventure was my least favourite so far. You start with limited time and have to find extra. We figured out most of the first puzzle but the final word was not an actual English word making it really hard to figure out so we had 'lost' the adventure before we really started which made it less fun, we did finally escape but I was less enamoured of that escape. That said I love Unlock! and would definitely keep buying them in the future. Great family/group fun.

My kids love the time we spend playing these games. I have 6 different sets and one left to play from this one. I even have my niece cone round to join in the fun as my kids talk about them a lot

I really like the Unlock! Series. This box is good, although there are a lot of number codes and less machines than some other boxes. Still all three stories are good fun, and can be quite challenging

This is a great set of challenging tasks. But they could look at reducing plastics. Almost be willing to pay an extra £5 for fully recycled packaging.

Extremely addictive game, as soon as we completed the first story we immediately wanted to play the next one. Some of the riddles are really clever and fun, I want to get the full set!

We really enjoyed this. Played with three other adults, but split into two teams because the puzzle cards are quite small so took it in turns. Found some quite challenging and it took a while to get the idea of the game. It was good if a slightly stressful way to spend an hour! Looking forward to getting another one.

Incredible series! We had great fun doing these with family and friends. Although. The pirate one gets impossible. The clues end. And you have to YouTube how to do it. The other two are irregular in clues and can be difficult. You have to make alot of guesses and mistakes to get past cards. I would recommend gicing YouTube a go before you buy.

Great fun, im slowly collecting all of these games. They are a good addition for a family game night getting everyone involved.

Love playing these games, another good part of Unlock is that cards can be reused as there is rarely some cutting / folding etc.

The app you need to be able to play the game clearly hasn’t been updated. The sound doesn’t work meaning you can’t completely puzzles and the app keeps freezing.

Unlock ist eine gute Alternative zu realen Escaperooms (Coronabedingt) und zu ahnlichen Spiele z.B. der Exit-Reihe. Die drei Abendteuer haben uns zu viert (alle 30-40 Jahre alt) ordentlich auf Trab gehalten. Wir haben keine Materialien zerstören müssen, sodass man das Spiel mehrmals spielen kann (gut wenn man ein schlechtes Gedächtnis hat) oder weitergeben kann.

Jeu original. Les énigmes sont accessibles sans être facile pour autant. Beau design, avec trois univers intéressants. J'ai également apprécié que l'application qui l'accompagne est facile d'utilisation et ne prend pas le dessus sur le jeu. (version anglaise)

My ten year old daughter and I play these games together all the time. It's a lot of fun to solve the puzzles and with three games in each, you get several sessions in each box, which is a great value. Additionally, unlike some other similar escape style games, you can pass these along to friends/family to enjoy the experience because there is no destroying game materials as you go. The different games have different difficulties, so be confident that at least one will hit the difficulty "sweet spot" even if we are fun. The only negative that I have is that I wish there was some sort of continuity between the games within the box. Also, some genes do a much better job if taking advantage of the app than others. Great overall though!
